My first automatic Seiko, a modified 007 I picked up on eBay for a good price. I love it, serious bang for the buck. I really like the plongeur hands too, think they suit the dial.

The rubber strap is very comfy but I might change it, I think a military green zulu would look well on it.

Think this was one of the first threads I ever posted on Of the three Seikos I had when I arrived, only one remains.

Another came and went, beautiful dial but knackered movement, one one arrived last year and shows no sign of going

and this came just this week

Bought from a member here, put in to service with the intention of being a beater watch, but I'll sure be sad when it picks up its first scratch.

SSA309J1 on a custom shark skin strap today. A bit blurry on my phone pic.. but the deepest of blue dials on this.

I thought I had better try the Alpinist; attached it to a Haveston Nato and very pleased with the result.

That looks really good. So much better than the cheap Alligator style brown straps that lots of people seem to fit.

I agree. Not a model I'd considered before but that really seems to suit it and 'dress it down' so to speak. Looks a decent quality NATO too!

Nice colour combo on that Tuna - I’m not a fan of the PADI logo (belonging to a different diving organisation myself..) but do like the blue ;)

    Thanks Steve!

Talking about blue, I litterally just received this SBBN037.

Indoor shots on an overcast day does not make this dial/bezel any justice at all, better pictures will follow in due time.

I agree- they seem so hard to photograph- that last pic looks great
The dial has some nice depth- my 033 has it too(only just noticed) it’s harder to see on the black face

    Guy may correct me but I think it’s a 7546 604A

    Agreed! :)

Yes, Paul is spot on, a 7546-604A. Mint condition rotating ring, bezel and crystal were installed on what was one of the nicer looking dials/hands and cases I could track down. Hard to find to he honest. You might want to search out the Silverwave versions which are again 7546 movements, but are 7546-6060 or 606A etc.

Here is a very uncommon 7546-604C that is one of my favourites.

This arrived today, 6309-7040 military mod.

Not sure if I want to re mod it, just tidy it up or leave it as a beater watch.

That is really nice, never seen one in that colour before.

A recent arrival, could do with a new crystal but everything else is perfect.

Contact forum member Bry1975 he has some sapphires at an excellent price, you can even buy a custom tool to open the caseback.

    Thank you.

The strap is from cheapestnatostraps.com. I got carried away a little the last weeks and ordered there several times. Always a pleasure to deal with them and very reasonable prices. Based in Sweden. Have a look at their leather straps, too. Currently installed the Kvarnsjoe suede vintage navy on my prospex turtle. Great combination. Can post a picture later that evening if anybody is interested.

    Loving it.
But I switch everyday so it has only seen a days rotation so far.
Suspect it’ll look even more gorgeous when summer replaces this drab, overcast weather, the bezel especially comes to life in direct sunlight.

Yes please. I don’t think you’ll find many complaining if you post more pictures with different straps
