Oh Dad, what have you done to me...?
Howling like a wolf when I collected her yesterday afternoon.
VERY groggy and feeling sorry for herself last night.
(allowed on the settee as special treatment)
This morning....
Like it had never happened.
Back to being a ginger terrorist.
7 day’s lead walks may become a bit challenging tho.

Meet Sky. A 17-month-old boxer.
She was the companion of Hummer, the boxer that came with his owner to the workshop for almost 10 yrs, 2 or 3 days/week. Last year, Sky joined the pack but stayed at home. Her temperament combined with Hummer's wasn't a good match in the workshop where we cannot pay attention to two both dogs during the day. Hummer got ill and died a few weeks back. Since then, she's feeling lonely. A good reason to take her to the workshop. And oh, does she enjoy all the attention from every human being around!
Her owner is a seasoned boxer owner (Hummer wasn't his first) but he's more than sure that Sky is more than a handful! Moody + an attention deficit sums her up nicely. Apart from that, she's a really cute dog! A tale from the workshop, so to speak.

Twelve months this morning since we lost the doddery old trout.
Sleep well Mia x
What happened?
She has..
She’s buried on one of the partridge drives on the estate. It was where she chased a flying pricked bird and realising that she wasn't going to catch it with speed alone, jumped and caught it in mid air
A magical moment and probably her finest retrieve.
I can see it now,
It is my lasting memory of what a wonderful gundog she was.
She's buried where it happened.
With spring flowers and a wonderful view

Just perfect.
Our previous cocker Barley, my avatar, had some good times. Was shooting in a wood with a friend about 50yds away once. Was a little quiet and then my friend had a shot. Barley shot off and returned with the pigeon wagging his tail. Apparently the friend was halfway to picking up the bird when old Barley 'wiped his eye'! Always reminds me when I see him
We’ve been to take her some flowers this morning
Weather not quite as nice as last year.
Good ol’ Barley
The memories last a lifetime
He looks very proud of his rosettes.
We’re they for trialling ?
...and he was a beautiful puppy.
Elsie was not too keen on the snow last weekend
