Good idea, how it’s changed from people looking down on us wearing these straps.

Omega have opened a pop-up store purely selling their NATOs. Looks like a few unique options in the video. Something different, I’d like to see this in the UK.

It seems that Omega have expanded their range of NATO straps since I last took a look. See their collection.
Just out of interest how much better are genuine NATOs from say Omega than one from a run of the mill store? Say watchgecko or watchobsession
Like it or not, they are the best NATOs going.
Well, there is the possibility to adjust the buckle placement a bit. But I’ve tried so many NATO’s and with only two brands I could get the buckle in the middle of my wrist. They’re all different, ranging from 26 to 32cm, stitching never placed the same, either too close together or too far apart (with the last, there is more room for change), too thick, too thin, etc, etc.
I purchased an Omega NATA black strap with the grey-bordered edges and was very impressed with the quality, and the stainless buckle finished it off nicely.
The only problem was it was a 21-22mm strap and it ended up being a little wide for my Speedmaster lugs and I should have purchased a 19-20mm strap. FYI
Cheers for the feedback. Not sure if I'll be buying one soon but good to know anyway
There is a video on YouTube about tudor NATO's being made...

Agreed on the Tudor straps.
Nice selection on Omega site now, so a lot more choice.
It's just a matter of time...
As a child I remember my Dad wearing his Oyster Royal on a red/white five stripe NATO
Red/white/red/white/red.
I’ve never been able to find one.
Et voilà... pop up Omega.
It’s close, but the blue edge stripes might mess with my C.D.O.
...and £120 might take some swallowing too.

Hope we get one in London soon.
Heading over soon so shall go and take a look. Can't see myself buying one due to what has made NATOs appeal to me in the past - a cheap way of having one strap for multiple watches that is comfortable whilst also being secure.
Clever idea.
All the while they can sell them at that price then i say good luck to them.
Those spring bars they've inserted for the NATO look somewhat curved, no? 1:16 onwards
Yeahhhh, it's probably one of their curve spring bars which is really ideal for Natos. I own both Omega and Phenomenato and I can say Omega is indeed very pricey. But the comfort and fitting is pretty much the same apart from I prefer the Omega buckle. Omega buckle is not that wide and for that, it is more comfortable specially when you have a lot of wrist motion.
Will take a picture of the Phenomenato and add it here.

And here's the Phenomenato...

Can I ask why are the curved pins better than traditional ones? Aren't they more prone of breaking? I was told against them by a local watch service guy for the exact same reasons.
Apparently much more pressure is placed on the ends of the pins resulting to subsequent damage.
Any experiences?
