First new watch for me (well actually a trade) this year. BNIB dated December 2017 complete with stickers and all bits and bobs.
Breitling: Galactic Unitime Sleek-T
not seen much around these parts. What do you think guys? The name put me off a bit - but what do you think of the style etc?
crown detail (and case shape - showing the tungsten-carbide bezel profile):
and with lume:
and size comparison with my FF (sorry about the focussing)
Will get a review together once I have a chance to wear it for a few days and even take the stickers off!!
Cheerio and yeh - comments welcome

Strangely appealing,I like it.
Amazing prices, and a fantastic movement. Really great buy imo. I’ve been very tempted myself.
It's just a matter of time...
Looks great. Well done Breitling. Enjoy wearing your new watch.

Breitling is such a strange brand. Often misunderstood or underrated. I find many of their watches great quality and whilst the retail price is abit off, providing u get some discount they are great value also. Great watch this one, looking forward to reviews!

I wonder if any of the Real Madrid team wear it ?
A very different attractive watch . Enjoy .

This is very nice indeed, I'm a sucker for red accents
Thanks for the comments!
Bit more info: This is the first three hander based on the in-house B-01 movement (others are chrono) from Breitling and with the added worldtimer complication.
So (of course) COSC but with 70h pr. The crown has quite a lot of resistance when winding - like you’re really turning a winch, not sure if that is the gearing but it’s quite satisfying. The manual says to wind it 40 times from cold - a fair bit, bit that’s what I’ve done to power the spring barrels.
Lume lasted all night. Even there at 4:30 this am.
It it is a wide watch and may not suit some, but I have a flat wrist so it’s not an issue. Also it is relatively slim and fits under a formal shirt cuff (unlike the Blancpain FF).
Time to get the stickers off this evening and let Breitling do what they do best - shine!
I snagged this this in a recent flash-sale at WF for well under retail. The MRPs for new are just rediculous and - but I don’t really want to discuss money - that’s just vulgar.

I like it a lot, the only reserve I have is about its size. I'd have been happy with a 41/42 mm.
Sorry, but for me.
The inner bezel(s) although functional are way too fussy, the crown protrudes too much and that style are hard to get a decent grip (had one on a Blackbird), too big, tacky with world map on the dial and a silly name
But hey each to their own, and enjoy!
That’s nice looking. Will be interested to hear how the single-crown implementation works for the reference cities, and also any info on how they came to use the projection that they did for the map 🤓
I like the subtle deco style touches on the case.
I quite like that! Be interested to hear how you get with on with it after wearing for a while.
Nice addition.
I like how the movement is implemented and the case design, but I have to say - I'm not so keen on the printed world map. I really don't get it, sorry!
Stunning watch, I was just looking at one of these the other day.
Yes if you go the map route, that is wonderfully done! Even on the patek world timers it looks a little odd.
One of my favourite world timers is this Chopard LUC example:

Both look good. I prefer the Vacheron but I would check the Montblanc Worldtimer as well which is affordable _20180213_155623.JPG

Nope. It has the pusher compared to VC which moves from the crown, but the disk rotates

Here is something about the VC who in the meantime brought out a new worldtimer in 2016.

one day maybe i’ll get one of these - I’d have to consolidate though. Meanwhile I’m enjoying the Breitling.
And a youtube link - v funny!!

Very nice Martyn, I think Breitling have done a great job with that one, I recently added this world timer to my collection so always interesting to see how other brands do it.....
Interesting Breitling. Never seen this model before.
Fair enough - the map isn't as nice as that VC, though miles apart in prices!
Some people do get addicted/fascinated with World Timers, if you had to consolidate to one that definitely wouldn't be the worse choice.
Be interested to hear thoughts after a while how the changes in materials holds up.
I've admired the MB one for a number of years now and made the mistake of trying one on at Heathrow recently.
I'm now convinced I need one (although, ironically, I travel quite rarely compared to the past)!
Is it as nice as the VC? Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and you'd hope the VC has something to offer over the MB, but I'd be quite happy with a MB.

PS I rather like the OP's original Breitling, but it's a watch I'd need to wear my reading glasses with!
Wow - very bold!
