I like them. I actually prefer the gold plated, cream dial model to the steel/black dial.
Both lovely watches though.
Seriously considering one as my next purchase in a month or two. Thoughts please.

It's a no from my I'm afraid. I just think the money is better saved against something better. But I say buy whatever you feel you would get a decent amount of wear from. I'm just as guilty as most in having too many watches that just don't get on the wrist.
It's just a matter of time...
I had one (white/cream?) dial, but I flipped it , to buy.........something else...forgot what though!
I did like it, I wouldnt mind another, as it was quite different to my normal favoured watches.
i love the looks of these, not hugely popular i know but i want something a little different and yet classic....

Not really my style to be honest, looks a bit "old fashioned" rather than "cool vintage", if you get my drift. However while the blue dialed version has a certain charm and is by far the best for me, the cream dial does look like an affectionate nod back to the original, and I can understand it's charm. But I wouldn't wear one.
I like this type of watch.
This however is ruined IMVHO, buy the smaller than small, 'small seconds' dial.

I think they make a nice dress watch but wouldn’t want to pay list price for one.
The few that have appeared on SC have generally been around £500 IIRC.
I think I’d prefer a PRS36 though although it’s a fair bit smaller.

Had to google this one, but it seems like a great watch. If you like it go for it

I bought one from SC and loved the Art Deco style numbers. A very well laid out and balanced watch, which for some reason I listed for sale. Didn't get any interest on here and someone alerted me to a WTB on watchuseek. Contacted the guy who was in the UK and he bought it. A week later he put it on e-bay for £200.00 more than he paid me. Doing a 'Kiki' as it now known.
A week later the guy who originally sold it to me put out a WTB asking to buy it back.
I like the case design also.

I had one years ago and my overwhelming memory of it is that it was very smooth, like a worn pebble. I mean that as a good thing - it was a very tactile watch, the opposite in touch to something spiky like a big Breitling. I liked it.
Owned the cream dial steel version once.
Only watch that I ever got complimented for by a beautiful woman...say no more...
