Must be obvious to some but what is T4 and T5?
Slim pickings today. YM2, Milgauss, Exp1 and Deepsea on the SS front
This is what I saw in Gassan at Schipol yesterday
The mis-aligned bezels frustrate the OCD in me
How much cheaper is the deep sea at today's exchange rate
This may ha e been mentioned before, and I apologise if that is the case, but if one buys a watch in schipol will there be anything more to pay up on renetering the UK?

My wife's heading through there on Sunday.

Well not quite, she has an additional card for my account. She just called to tell me there were no steel sports models at all! The guy in Gassan even checked the model numbers on the stock computer and confirmed that, so looks like whatever was still kicking around has gone. Black DSSD wasn't on ze list.
ADs I have a good relationship with have refused discount on Deepsea Black. Seems crazy to me as they're available a fair bit cheaper BNIB or a few years old. The ADs know they're not hot sellers and know they can be bought for cheaper.
UK ADs just seem to be holding strong for full RRP, and someone will pay it.
I personally wouldn't pay full RRP for a black Deepsea, but that's just me.
They still had the bi metal GMT, DSSD, a couple of Yachtmaster I & IIs, Milgaus and Datejust, plus a few more bits today

Slim pickings last night as I passed through... a black DSSD for 9200 euros, a blue faced Milgauss, 3 or 4 Datejusts, and a couple of Yachtmaster IIs. The guy said they were "waiting for the next delivery of steel sports models", and they had a lot of empty case space. Same with the Omega boutique next door.
Given that the shop's stock can change from hour to hour, no matter day to day, how is knowing what it had on display anytime in the last month of any use?
I went through on Sunday and last night and can confirm no SS sports models on either side (Gassan or Rolex boutique).
A tip about Schiphol based on my personal experience from Feb 2015 ... what you see on display may not necessarily be all they have. I was hunting a GMT II LN and the Rolex boutique at Schiphol told me they didn't have it. I went to the Gassan shop there and was given the same answer. After a lot of persuasion, one was 'found inside' and I returned to London very happy. Obviously it is possible they really don't have any of the more popular models at a given point in time and persistence may not work with every salesperson. It didn't make much sense though. Why hide stock from an ordinary passenger? They are an airport shop, it's not like they would have a big list of loyal, local customers.
Just to add to the above, I bought my wife's watch from Rolex boutique at Schiphol in Dec 2016 too. Being a bi-metal Lady Datejust, this one was on display, no issues with availability. Got additional discount on top of the usual ~18% as it wasn't as 'hot' as men's sports steel models. For reference, the discount is rebranded from "Duty Free Price" to "See-Buy-Fly Price" if you're traveling to a destination within the EU.
Going slightly off topic..... Are Sinn Watches on sale in German AD's much cheaper than what UK AD's charge?
Im off to the dam in two weeks and was wondering if anyone has been recently and can advise on pricing?
Bit annoyed I’ve been dam 3 times in the last year and never even knew this place existed

I was through Schipol last week Sunday and Friday and checked both times on both sides. Very little doing on the stainless steel front and they’ve apparently had no recent deliveries.
What is special about this ad at schipol - do they just have a higher allocation of stainless steel professional rolexes or that they have "less traffic"?
At about 1.12 euros to the Pound, the UK is usually cheaper than most European countries and I travel a lot.
Also the shortages are now hitting Europe and this means prices over there will slowly creep up.
I emailed me and they sent me the below:
