Omega for me.
Hi anyone recommend which watch out if these two:
The new Breitling Superocean Heritage II*
Or the omega seamaster
I like them both but cant decide.
Much appreciated.

Omega for me.
Breitling every time. But i like the symmetry, cleanness and "simplicity" of the Breitling.
Omega for sure. Great dials and bezel
Omega but get the original with ETA 2892/2
Out of those 2 choices it’d have to be the Omega purely based on colour as that Breitling brown (or bronze as they call it) does nothing for me. The Breitling in blue would be a much more difficult choice.
I do rather like the Superocean... the brown's nice and different. Shame the bezel doesn't have numerals on. Supposedly a rather good in-house movement with a 70 hr PR too, I think. Would have to be on a rubber deployant or bracelet though.
The breitling in blue is one of my top must have dive watches. Really beautiful.
Omega for me, although the Breitling is beautiful

Definitely the Breitling for me, that is probably the only one in their range that I do really like enough to buy.
The brown makes it look a bit different in a good way.

The super ocean heritage is nice and possibly my favourite breitling..... not sure on that colour though?? Omega seamaster is class act and has always been one of my favourite watches...im going to be different from my normal decision and say get the breitling at least you won't see as many out and about!

Omega for me, but I prefer the black version. I'm not a fan of that shade of blue
I like the blue colour too. Brown is different though.

I like the breitling and I also like the brown.

I love these watch battles, don’t seem to see so many these days.
The Super Ocean in blue on a Mesh is stunning . The Seamaster is a lot more likely to be seen around and about . I reckon every other commute I see one in a guys wrist. That’s not a bad thing btw it makes you part of a bigger club. I think the Omega Images never justify the watches in the flesh . My opinion would be try them both on . You may find one simply doesn’t work as well.
Both lovely pieces I own both personal preference
I'm swaying towards the breitling... simply because I already own a planet oceon and the breitling is different.
I've never been a fond of breitling because there are very busy looking watches but this breitling looks simple and elegant.

The Breitling is a stunner as far as I'm concerned, I'd go for the blue or white myself, but the "bronze" is a strong look, and I can really see how it could appeal. It's a nice position to be in when both options are great :)
Breitling blue on mesh is my choice by a country mile. I think the omega design now is a bit dated
I've had a completely different SMP (50th Anniversary GMT) for a couple of years now and today received a blue Breitling SOH (v1) on mesh. I like them both a lot.
One thing I would say is that the Breitling is a markedly bigger watch than the Omega. It carries its size well but it's definitely more noticeable.
Another vote for the Breitling, always liked the bronze though the blue bezel with silver dial caught my eye in the local AD on Friday. Think I missed where they introduced the new 70 Hr movement, must pay more attention!
As an Omega fan I have to say I really like the look of the Breitling on the mesh however at 46 mm it would be too big for me. 42 is my limit. I do prefer the PO and if this was an option here I would take it anytime over the Breitling.

The SOHII 42 blue dial, ceramic bezel, Tudor movement, mesh.
Never liked the skeletonised hands of this Seamaster and I agree with others, it looks dated.
The Breitling with mesh strap, very smart.
ok superoceon it is then..... now need to decide 42mm or 46mm.... hmmm

The Breitling is probably the nicest one I’ve seen not normally a fan of theirs.
Having said that I would still go for the Seamaster. Just sold the earlier 1120 movement model and may regret it!!
The 42mm Heritage is one of the best looking watches out there. The 46mm just looks too big but then I think anything that size usually does. If anything the Heritage version in blue especially is potentially a little too dressy but I really think Breitling could grow their customer base by devoting more of their line up to watches like this, less shiney everything and less cluttered dials. That's less Breitling though so maybe they won't!
Ooh and a display back would be nice....
Breitling, but not in Brown!
Blue or black for me.
M
Normally, any Breitling vs Omega choice would have me choosing the Omega, but not this time. The Superocean Heritage is a cracker, and I don't really like the '80s vibe of the Seamaster. It's shame that the new Superocean Heritage doesn't come with the white face/blue bezel configuration any more, though....
Omega all the way
picking the superoceon up tommorow

I had the black dial version on mesh. It was a really lovely watch and always attracted comments.
Good choice. Brown version?
I’d also choose the Breitling. But I have to say I prefer the previous gen version. In the flesh, the new version of the Heritage has something different going on with the bezel. It appears almost faceted and really catches the light and sparkles in a way that I personally like less than before. Some will prefer no doubt, it’s still a cracker and my choice here, just accounting for taste you might want to check it out first.
