I'd be up for that.
All the best for your uncle's recovery.
My uncle was recently diagnosed with cancer and is now undergoing chemotherapy, this is the first time I have been directly affected by cancer and I would like to make a donation to Cancer Research Uk on his behalf. With the success of the recent Rolex raffle I would like to offer up my Tag Heuer Carrera ref.WV2112 (http://www.watchfinder.co.uk/Tag%20H...7/0/item/39471). The watch will come on a new rally strap with a Heuer pin buckle and hopefully will be serviced prior to the new owner receiving it. I don’t want to handle the money as all the money will go to charity so think setting up a virgin money page like the one for the TZ fundraiser, I am also open to suggestions. I have cleared this with Eddie and the watch would be the property of the winner to do with as they please (resell for market value if they wanted). Would there be enough interest here at £25 a ticket with two smaller prizes for the runner ups?

Thanks for the response so far. I will post some photos of the watch later. I will also need a fair few more participants to try and raise as much money as possible.

I'd been happy to as well - and best wishes to your uncle for his recovery.
Absolutely. A VMG page is a good way to run this.
I'd also like to be in with a chance of winning, but a guarantee to help!
Count me in.
Hope things go well with your uncle's treatment.

Battling cancer is something I have seen most of my family do at some point so anything to help combat the awful disease is good for me.
Happy to help
I'd be up to help too.

First of all, I hope your uncle makes a speedy recovery. Count me in.
Thanks everyone for the offer to donate to my raffle. I have setup a justgivving page here (https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Mrchef-raffle). When you make a donation please add your forum name and if you wish a message. I will assign a number to you based on where you donation appears on the just giving page so if you wish to make two please make them separately. The watch has just received a service from Animalone (thanks again) so should give you many years of enjoyment. At the moment we are up to 33 participants and I would like to see 40+ if we can! I would hope to conclude the draw at the end of the month. If I have left anything out please let me know and thanks again.

I'm in. Donation made. Great gesture mate.
Rob
Just donated, great gesture
Done, I like these things. Even if you get don't the watch (which I think we all secretly wish for) it' money well spent. I personally don't like the hard sell tactics of charities normally so puts me off donating, especially after one particular charity used to pressurise my elderly neighbour into upping his direct debit to their cause.

Donation made for great cause :)
Donation made, my thoughts are with you
Donated. It's not far away from £400 already, so £1000 will be no drama.
I will be in. Best wishes
