Sell your 14060M, keep the 114060. Buy a 16610LV and wear it with the bracelet from the 114060.
I have tried on both a few times and am happy with both case shapes. I just reached the conclusion that for me the combination of maxi case, green bezel and green dial would be a bit loud.
I have the 16610lv and it is this for me all day long. The 116610lv is just a bit blingy for me, the 16610 being more subtle. Both great watches though.
I don't like the green, if they did a blue steel Sub I would love it.
Kermit for me.
Hulk by a nose.

Love them both, and own a Hulk which gives me a lot of pleasure; both of the watches ares superb, though, and I'm occasionally tempted to switch.
As an aside, I was in WF at the Royal Exchange today and was astounded to see an unworn flat 4 16610LV on sale for £12k. I did suggest to them that it might be a bit toppy
I would be worried about scratching the insert on the Kermit ( Yes I am a sad g*t ) I presume Flat 4 replacements aren't available and others much more than black equivalent so Hulk.

Have both. Kermit for me, easily. For those who don't know, the Kermit is the greatest Rolex made in the last 20 years.
The 50th anniversary LV is by far a superior watch
I've always wondered why many folk compare these two. In reality their only similarity is a little (or a little more) green. Both different case shapes, bezel materials, bracelets, well, the whole watch really!
Personally its the "kermit" for me.
Slightly less in your face. I also love the larger dial markers on the earlier case.
Its a nice casual watch.
Let's not get carried away here. They're essentially small differences, and both are quality watches.
Which one appeals more is really a matter of personal style; as I said, there's no wrong choice here.
Awesome, another debate based on a specious car analogy in a watch thread.
Cripes — it's the same movement reference; it just has a different hairspring.
Right Greg, I will actually answer your original question and ignore the guff on here. I prefer the Kermit because the contrast between a black dial and a green insert is pleasing without going over the top. Very much in the same way Pepsi and Coke inserts appeal to many. The Hulk on the other hand is too over the top for me with the green dial and the plasticy looking Ceramic insert - it is a bit of an assault on the eyes.
No cars were mentioned in the answering of this question.
I think the Kermit is the more discrete and attractive for that reason. It is a humble Sub, but just that little more special because of the frosted green. But it is a shame that it is only remarkable by virtue of an easily replaceable bezel insert. You can get the same effect by a regular [cheaper] 16610 and pick up a green bezel.
The Hulk is a bit too much imho, unless you absolutely love the radiant green. But at least the dial and cerachrome can't be duped.
I have owned both but only kept the 16610. It's the 50th anniversary model of an iconic watch and, for me, the way the case flows more smoothly into the bracelet is the much better Look of the rwo.
I find the 116610 a bit too try-hard. Like a Sub in a David Byrne suit.
I will also not mention cars.
The 16610 is perfectly proportioned and is not showy.
The 116610 has a plastic looking bezel (yuk), wide lugs (yuk) and a brilliant bracelet.
I will make a bit of a sweeping statement, the 16610 is more of an elderly mans watch and the 116610 is more suited to the younger man.
On the whole I prefer the Ceramic / 6 digit watches. The Kermit is one of the exceptions.
Just a little over a month after my original post and thank you for all the responses.
It's roughly 50/50 on opinions and after all that, I still haven't made up my mind.
Here's to the next month in the think tank...
I will add my biased opinion and go for the Hulk
I love the unique dial colour and the superior bracelet, the green is very understated a lot of the time and the green of the bezel is wonderful
Being a fan of the maxi-case and ceramic bezel makes it an easy decision really
The Kermit is the original 50th anniversary model and the Hulk took over with the Submariner update so is it still the anniversary model but just mark 2?
I see the Kermit as a black submariner with a maxi dial and green bezel, and not a very nice green if i am honest, when I saw one at Goodwood I was very disappointed, it looked cheap against all the 6 digit models in the case
If the Kermit was still being produced alongside the Hulk there would be no competition, I cant help but think a lot of the hype is in the 'investment factor'
If the Hulk is discontinued when the movement is updated the values on both will even out I am sure
I intend to keep mine forever so it is pretty irrelevent
LOVE the hulk!
You never forget your first true love that's why it'll always be the LV for me
Actually I always thought "LV"was a nickname because it was the same shade of green as...

i think the kermit edges it with the green bezel and black dial the hulk is too greeny
