Is anyone ordering this?
It looks amazing but is expensive.
Is it likely to be hard to get? Or will it be out for a few years?

Get to Leicester Square at midnight tonight and get one, signed by one of the LEGO designers.
I will wait until 1st October
Old version with bricklinked pieces still avail on sales corner!!! Shameless plug. couple hundred cheaper than this lol. If I can sell it I might get the new one - dunno.

Unsurprisingly sold out when I found out at lunchtime. Oh well, just have to wait for October.
The website was such a mess this morning that I ordered one and ended up with two! Checked payment and paid for two - Boo!!
The original is going for £1,200 on ebay!
I ordered one.
I recently sold an Omega Seamaster multifunction and took a bath on it. It seems odd to have swapped a Seamaster for a Lego set but the Lego set seems more relevant to me right now.

There are some on eBay already for anything between £695 and £2250 !

Having recently got back into Lego I'll probably be ordering one of these next year when the stock levels return to normal. I don't care about getting one before xmas, which is probably going to be difficult. I'm sure the scalpers will be able to flip them for a quick profit between now and then.
Last time I checked this wasn't a limited edition, but Lego runs are always limited to an extent. I believe they usually sell for about 1-2 years before being retired and I don't think there are usually stock problems during that period and no specific cap on numbers. The thing with Lego is that certain sets end up massively popular after they sell out, which happened with the old version of this, which wasn't a limited edition either. I'm sure speculators will be counting on the same thing happening again, but it won't, because so many people will have bought them as "investments".
B-1 included for scale... the box weighs 15Kg !

I would but even as a Lego VIP I still couldn't get an order in before preorders sold out. Gonna be tough again come October!

I'm glad I sold my original USC MF last year
Gonna get one of these instead and I think I'll actually build the thing

Same happened to me, I was on the website at bang on 7.30. It kept crashing and I left for work but had sold out by 10.30 ish
I emailed Lego and they assured me it will be in stock at some point.
In hind sight I think it's too. much money though
My 2 arrived tonight. My God, the boxes are huge!!!
The price is a clear indicator that this model has been built for speculators but damn I still want it!
You can pick up a Chinese Lepin knock off of the old MF model for about £100 off Alibaba but no idea of the quality but having
'Lepin Star Wnrs' on the box is a good laugh!
I'm no expert but I feel investing in Lego is dead.
No one will have confidence in exclusivity now the MF UCS has been re released. This will affect older sets
Also, the number of speculators buying new sets seem to be ridiculously high.
I'm just going to buy what I like and intend to build.
I think I'll buy ghost busters fire station next. I held off as it seemed expensive but compared to this it feels a bargain!

Still cost you over a grand for a tantine IV blockade runner set 10019. You watch - guarantee you won't be able to get the new MF under RRP once it becomes discontinued
Ghostbusters house is huge - a third higher than the modulate and packed with detail. Great set

totally agree, everyone is a collector nowadays.
I'll just stick to collecting the modulars as I have a complete set and don't want any gaps in the line up but won't be spending 1000's like I have in the past.
In fact when I get time I'm going to liquidate some of my collection and buy an RS4, that sounds like more fun than an attic full of plastic bricks
