Definitely not.
That GMT is a thing of beauty and will only become more desirable as time goes on.
The Daytona-C will become easier to find and will never have the long term desirability of your GMT + the patina is excellent!
I'm not normally indecisive but this one has me wondering if I'm doing the right thing.
Would you trade the two below for a ceramic Daytona ?
Definitely not.

Ensure you try one first. They're not all that.
Normally I'd say no.....but the new Daytona is stunning! If it was my choice I'd jump at it. Hope all goes well.
you'd have to add cash
NO WAY!
Not for me. Those two are worth holding on to. Have you had many chronographs in your collection thus far?
Of course, plus £3k your way.
The GMT and 2 liner are fabulous watches. The Daytona is a trophy watch. If that is whats wanted yeh I would.

Personally, no. You have two beautiful watches there, if I were to let them go I would regret it.

Not

When I read your question, then saw the pictures of the two Rolexes, I actually said this out loud..."Hell no."
Not a chance, that GMT is lovely, great patina.
The Sub is great as well, I'm biased though as i prefer the non date version.
Is the gaining of a chrono with screw down pushers sufficient compensation for losing date and timing bezel and GMT hand?
Does having one less watch bother you?
How much more than having two classic watches would having the desirable Rolex of the day mean to you?
Non. You don't want to regret rien. Or something like that.
I'd rather have the gmt alone instead of a daytona. One is class, the other a bit too blingy.
Deffo not if it were me. Love that GMT

Nope. Keep those.

I wouldn't trade the GMT on its own for a ceramic daytona unless it was for the financial gain.
No way, José.
The GMT is the Daddy
DON'T DO IT!!

Another no from me, purely down to the GMT which is beuatiful.
Hope I get a call Monday to say my Daytona is in, I would love to do that trade
No regrets on my part 😀
An appreciating asset versus a depreciating asset. No brainer really.
Never in a million years.
The 5513 with gold surrounds does nothing for me.
Guess it comes down to how much you value your watches to the value of the other, and how much you think you might wear it.
It's just a matter of time...
I would
A lot against the idea here, though for me personally the new Daytona has something special about it. The more I wear it the more it grows on me, so much so that a year on its growing on me even more.
I don't know your financial situation and I'm against encouraging borrowing, but I'd try and keep the gmt and finance the rest (or cash if you have it). There's very cheap borrowing out there. If it does t work out you can always sell the gmt (or Daytona if it's not what you expected) later without much/any risk.
No.
for me the sheen is wearing off the Ceramic Daytona
Much prefer the SD43.

You may end up regretting letting that Gmt go, I know I would! Lovely watches by the way.

As someone who really wants a ceramic Daytona and has been on waiting list at a couple of places for a while, I wouldn't trade these two for one. May be sell the Sub and add cash to get Daytona if absolutely necessary but definitely wouldn't let both go to get one watch unless it was something really really special which Daytona isn't IMHO.
Not a chance!!
No chance. Although having said that, you probably wouldn't lose money either way...

Another no from me.
Absolutely not, ever!
Ceramic Daytona looks nothing on either of those two!
But then that's coming from someone that really doesn't get the Daytona thing (apart from the old Paul Newman style)
I guess if you really love them it's pointless asking other people what they'd do though. Me personally, I would say those two have waaay more class than a ceramic Daytona.
Yes. The 1675 is nice but it's not the rarest of watches. The 14060 are 10 a penny.
No chance

If you don't I'll take the Daytona at the value of the two!!

There's a lot of other factors to consider here - the age/quality of the Daytona, how much you wear the Sub and GMT, what is the state of the rest of your collection etc...

Ceramic Daytonas are freely available at inflated prices and a few have sat unsold for a long time and the wise heads are predicting a continual downturn in the selling price.
The other two watches are clearly harder to source and a lot of people who part with nice vintage examples later regret it (apart from me of course ).
Value wise at present the sums add up for me and there is not a lot in it, so it is a straight choice of what you want the most. It really is a head over heart decision.
Personally, I would suggest that you keep the two vintage and wait for the collapse in the Daytona price. Wasn't the prediction £13k by the end of the year. I don't think they will ever sell at RRP used, but somewhere between £11k and £12k would satisfy a few.
No way. Not never no how.

No.
You will regret it later.
