I keep telling myself not to buy anymore Vostoks. This just appeared on Meranom's website and once again I succumbed.
Picked up this yesterday, perfect condition, great lume, really impressed with quality for the price. It's also a JDM, I wanted a Japan built Seiko, I don't know why but I'm fussy about things like that.

Unusual steinhart from pretty early days finally due to arrive tomorrow from Australia of all places . Thought i knew steinharts models but this was a new one on me. Not a homage either (I don't think anyway?). Subdials are kind of green mother of pearl which is - er - unusual. But that's ok - I like unusual

I had one of those Steinhart and just felt clumsily executed.
And felt like a big block of steel. Loosely based on Daytona.
The recent one while still a huge watch is better executed IMO.
Hi Sean, not sure I can capture it properly, but here's a couple of photos to try. Just to add, I've tried NATO's in the past and none have been as comfortable as these two.
Thanks I just bought a grey one, 20mm. They look like good quality judging by the stitching around the keepers. I've asked for similar pics of this one which looks good too, with a decent buckle

I'll let you know what it's like if interested.
This is coming today. Haven't had a Seiko for a while and was looking for something to take to our holiday hut in Wales later this year and also for swimming in (once pressure tested!)
EDIT: It's here and the dial is off centre, despite me checking with the seller and being told it was dead straight. Returning later today!

I'm late to the Polar Explorer fan club, but my recently acquired 16570:
It's a T series so about 1995, tritium dial and hands. I actually like the older clasp...

Evant Tropic Fume Blue Diver
First this at the very end of the beaverbrooks sale
Then I got this back from me watchmaker
Then I went a little crazy
Arrived today and I love it. glossy piano style old box with papers and a spare stickered original 12 yr old bracelet!pretty much as new conditionsits comfortable in the wrist but then I like the Tudor black bay case shape so.....actually think it works better on black Hirsch than bracelet.

Always fancied one of these fantastic chunks of '70s madness.
That Steinhart just doesn't know what it wants to be - I don't think i've ever seen such a schizophrenic watch!
Third vintage buy in a row for me - sensing a trend....

My second Tag Heuer. Fantastic quality and supremely comfortable. I know they don't have a great following on here, but this feels great for me!

I have become guilty of regarding Tag as 2nd rate through the forum collective. Recently getting back an appreciation for Tag after looking at the Autavia. Really like the Aquaracer collection and after spending stupid money on Rolex , Omega , IWC etc I can see the value in Tag.
Lovely looking solid watch I may soon join you!
I do like those dodecagon* bezels. I was admiring them in Goldsmiths window a few days ago. There was one with a grey dial in particular that looked very nice. Possibly a bit smaller than the others? Unfortunately they weren't next to each other so I couldn't be sure
Edit: looking through the TAG website, most are 43mm but there are also some at 40.5 and 41. This must have been the one that was catching my eye, the WAY2113.BA0928
*yes I had to look this word up

Ah, I see. Date wheels go where they go and so the rest is adjusted....unless you make your own movement, and then not for the cost.
Just learning about this part of it.
Well then I'm glad it's larger.
And I should have said I was happy they did not eliminate the 3 I suppose....

Tudor Heritage Ranger
Now that Ranger is super easy to read. Excellent and just a bit of color on the sweeper.
New to the forum, picked up a Tag Heuer Aquaracer (ceramic Calibre 5) on Tuesday last week

Purchased from Caruso. Thanks Dan :)
Just picked up this titanium stunner from hhh. Loving it, so comfortable. Still in T5 waiting for flight back to Dublin hence the poor pic. Ps sadly no SS sport Rolex in the T5 outlet save for the usual suspects.

This Cartier Ferrari Formula Cal. 531, NOS condition, with box and tags arrived yesterday.
Obligatory wrist shot, after I'd replaced the original battery !
Thanks.

Thanks. It is my first radiomir and I like it a lot. Very comfortable on the wrist and wears smaller than the 45mm case would suggest.

Luch One-Hander. 36mm, manual wind, ultimate readability.
Mounted on a 20mm Hirsch Duke which I think suits it well.
