Just got this back from its first service in 36 years! Bought it new in 1981. Never been polished or mucked about with. Taken it off the Jubilee bracelet. Nice to have it back in rotation. Thanks to Simon Freese.

I think its a Hirsch - not sure what reference. Will check over the weekend and if I get any details I will let you know.

Gratuitous car shot....
Bezel may have been renewed, although the glass has always taken the brunt of the scratches.

Excuse the rogue Omega.

My GMT has departed for a pamper today. Hopefully back in a few weeks.
Fortunately I can give the rather wonderful SDc some wrist time.
My only Rolex. Demure, comfortable, very robust -- my beater for the last thirty years.
Rolex Oysterquartz (17000) stainless steel beater; Cartier Santos quartz in steel/gold for dress wear; Audemars Piguet Huitième chronograph in yellow gold; Glashütte Original Senator Excellence (classic dial) in steel; Glashütte Original Panoreserve (blue dial) in steel.
