JazzFM...
I quite often listen to background music in my office of a night shift....
A long time favourite is Jan Van Veen's Candlelight radio- a Dutch easy listening station.
Just wondering if there are any other recommendations?

Try Soma , they have loads of different types. Groove Salad does it for me.
I have never thought of listening to the radio over the internet.
Without looking, I would have assumed that nowadays every station has an online feed?
Off to start searching.........

I enjoy Paradise Radio... loads of quality music of all genre. I use Chromecast Audio through a Ruark R1, or Sonos through my hifi.
I have a Tangent in the kitchen - what about a phone with a dock- there a loads of apps
I'll second Rod's recommendation for Paradise. High bitrate options too, so decent quality.
I enjoy Big Blue Swing via the Tunein Radio app.

I use My Tuner app on my iMac, but it keeps crashing, I listen to BBC Radio 2 when I'm at work, its enjoyable, and helps keeping my tinnitus at bay.
I now use the BBC Radio 2 widget which is more reliable.
Another vote for Calm Radio.....

Just one other thought for when you're skiing, David. Austrian radio station FM4 is well worth a listen. They do quite a bit in English as well, if I remember correctly.
