Am guessing it will be my SD, it's done a lot of years service and deserves to be worn.

This is just a bit of fun. Gaze into your crystal-ball and predict what you will be wearing on the 6th Feb 2022.
Will smart-watches have taken over?
Will I prefer a dress watch as I head into my mid-40s?
Will I be bored of Rolex?
Will Patek ever produce a true dive watch? 200M WR and a bezel. If so, I'll sell everything else and buy one.
If not, and I imagine they won't, I reckon I'll be wearing my old Rolex Seadweller. And sold most of my collection. I would really like to get down to 1-2 watches.

Probably this. It's never leaving my collection as it was bought with the last of my Mothers inheritance. It will stay in my estate when I go. (Sorry for the 'supersize ').
It's back on my wrist today after wearing 45mm watches it is positively sylvet.

I'll be 30 so i'd like to hope that I could afford an IWC by then. Maybe a MK XVIII or, by then, probably XIX?
Most definitely the following:
Rolex 16600 SD
Rolex 14060 cosc
Patek 5711
One of my Omega SMP300Ms
No smart watch, unless they have it run from just the power of a rotor, and the tech is upgradable.
I'm going back the way and bucking the trends so, by then, I'll be wearing a 28mm!!!
5 years is a long time (I had two watches 5 years ago!).
It'll be interesting to see how Smartwatches go - I'm doubtful they'll gain much of a foothold amongst watch fans, but they may well become popular generally.
I can't see me abandoning a traditional wristwatch (hands, dial, etc) in favour of one, personally.
I suspect my Sinn Arktis, Breitling Cosmonaute and Jaquet Droz (my 21st birthday present!) will still be here - Who knows what else I'll have (if anything)?
Probably not a Rolex or Patek Philippe I suspect, so I'll probably ONLY have those brands!
M
Apple Watch Series 7.
I'll still own my Sub and my Speedy, but they won't be on my wrist very much.
Exactly what I wear now.
Handcuffs?
Hopefully a Speedy Tuesday. No idea what if anything else but I'll be happy with that assuming all goes through fine.
Same today as 5 years ago, and 5 years hence. This:
Plus a few stable mates. This one was here almost 10 years ago, and will most likely be here in 5 to 10 too:
Looking back, I was wearing these 5 years ago. Wouldn't mind still having them but they did contribute to reducing a mortgage, and the Rolexes are more my thing - just a bit more rugged:
Hamilton Khaki Field - it is enough watch.
Really like those hulk and kermit subs....
This one probably for me

These two will remain I think. Particularly the 1675.
I don't know what else but I can't see it being anything other than Rolex sports.
Dull and predictable :)
A big grin because hopefully I'll be retired.
And this, even if nothing else:
I'll have bought and sold a Rolex Explorer and be wearing the Sinn U1 I have on now.
Pity 6/2/22 is a Sunday - there'll be no Friday thread to compare :)
BLNR and BBN were presents from the wife, so they'll likely stay. PO would be most likely to go but then I'm not really a flipper, so that and the Tag F1 will probably stay too. I have been contemplating sending my remaining affordables to ebay though, except for the Timex Expedition which I'll save as an uber-beater.
In five more years though I'd hope to have picked up at least one of my current targets, a Monaco Calibre 11 or 12 and a Panerai Luminor Base Logo (not an in-house), so one of those would probably be being worn.
Probably a Speedmaster of some description, cant at the moment cause my Auto is away for repairs and the moon watch is in its box, i need to adjust the bracelet on it seens i have put on weight,
I'll be retired so it will be my Rolex Explorer.
I really hope I'll be 'over' watches and this place too!
Cutting down to 2 (or maybe 3) right now. Weekender stainless, work dressy stainless and then a gold restaurant/dress watch. Perfect world would see Sea-Dweller or FF, JLC Master Calendar and a gold moonphase of some sort.
Although I may even lose the gold watch idea.
Seems to beggar belief; but once I'm there, I won't go back. May trade like for like as the years go on though.
I'd be surprised if I wasn't wearing a Planet Ocean of some type, its been the go to watch in various versions over the last 8 years and I can't see that changing.
I hope to also stilll have my AP ROO diver.
Probably a smartwatch, since they'll likely to become useful devices on their own right by then, with better battery life and so on.
I'll still keep my Lange 1 though, since I can't improve on that little piece of perfection..
At my age probably a nappy
On the watch front probably an i watch if any or my B1 for nostalgia
Sub
Daytona
5711
Aquanaut
A big smile as I contemplate winding down towards retirement.
On my wrist, the Bremont Terra Nova I have is a keeper so this for sure.
"Scanning the horizon" a bit, nothing too exotic probably, I will go for a ceramic Daytona but that will be a couple of years away.
In my heart, it will be a clean Rolex 6538 Sub with gilt dial and white 'big bubble' seconds hand. Just got to work out where to find one, oh and how to pay for it.
In my head (and reality) it'll still be my Tudor 76100.
I'll be 40 in 5 years, hopfully I will be wearing a nice birthday present!
An almost impossible question for me - Ive no idea what I will be wearing in 5 months never mind years
In 5 years time, I will probably be wearing the same divers, chronographs and military style watches that I do now. I write "probably" because I hardly had any G-Shocks 5 years ago, yet now have quite a few. Who really knows where their interests will go over such a long period?

Sub will still be in rotation and maybe an LS if things work out ;)

Honestly, no idea but it will be mechanical.
When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
Probably my sub, and hopefully add another Rolex.
Not entirely sure but probably not mechanical. Won't be Swiss due to ever ballooning prices, if a decent smart watch appears with the equivalent of Casio solar G shock tech that'll be hard to beat as a daily wearer. Sinn U1 not going anywhere mind, in 5 years they'll probably be £6k!
