I had the email earlier. A windfall may put me in the happy position of placing an order in the new year, if so then roll on 2018! :-) and :-(
Did anyone else get a Christmas email from Dornbluth today? A nice touch :)
I do like them very much as a brand (and the watches themselves of course!)

Got mine, great customer service from this company so far, after all this talk of "Building a relationship with an AD". It's nice to have a company who value their customers. I can see myself buying again.
I got a card and nice model plane tree decortion to build from Bremont.
OK, it's not a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, but it's hardly 'the personal touch' from Dornbluth, is it?
You'd think a company that prides itself on 'handbuilt quality' could extend to handwritten cards for people who spent not inconsiderable amounts on their watches (I'm presuming), rather than a mailshot email, no?
Bah humbug!

I got the email. I usually get a paper card through the post.

I've had handwritten stuff from them in the past and have never given them a single Euro :)
I have owned a watch of theirs and wrote to them enquiring as to service costs. The response was excellent and incredibly reasonable. I sold the watch soon after but would most definitely buy another should I be in the position to do so.
Handwritten cards are what I've received from Dornbluth for the past 5 odd years since a bought one of their watches - but I guess these days they're sending that many cards out it's become impractical (and expensive in postage) for such a small company. Still, it's a shame as I looked forward to receiving it but electronic communications is the way of the world now
ditto .
i've had a hand written card from them every single year since I bought my 99.0 off them about 10 years ago now.
Perhaps now only new and repeating clients will get hand written ones - which is fair enough - one Dornbluth is enough for me for now
One thing with the picture in the email ... the dial the chap is holding in the left of the picture seems to have a new design for the power reserve.
No pictures of it on the DB website though, but rather like the look of that so hopefully it will make it into the centre seconds watch!
Strange how these things work.
Enquired a while back about a Dornbluth and got the e-card.
Bought a watch from Bremont a while back and got nada!
I liked the physical postcards they mailed for years.
Seems like they have hired a few persons since it picked up my watch, business must be good for them.
Perhaps I should start inquiring about a watch for my 50th birthday.
