Just got my new Native 5 S110V in Blue FRN - what a lovely looking EDC knife and that blade is again sharp as anything straight out the box. Looking forward to seeing how the S110V holds up. Pictures to follow later tonight or tomorrow.
I've had a Dime on my keyring for a few years now. I bought it primarily for the pliers, but it's surprising how useful the rest of it is.

Finally got a decent picture of my recent purchase.
^ Nice.
Here's my latest:

My new chef's knife arrived:
Poor photo - but it's a lovely piece of craftsmanship. Will Ferraby: http://www.ferrabyknives.co.uk/
Latest addition. Sorry for the phone pic but you get the idea :-)
maybe but its a good photo
my latest a basic tinker, I cleaned and oiled and just lightly stropped the blades.
I will put some plus scales on it and add a pen and pin.
its so light it will be my out of house carry a lot, the Philips is very useful as is the small blade I've used it quite a bit this last week.
I also have a super tinker which adds a parcel hook and scissors but is noticeable heavier
its strange I have gone full circle back to basic SAKs
Have to admit I like a light carry out of the house, the Roadie is with me at all times and fits nicely on my key ring.
I've absolutely no interest in knives (find it slightly creepy tbh) but I did get a new kitchen knife for my birthday recently. It's a 5.5" Robert Welch Signature and I think it must be a good one. It makes very short work of carrots anyway.
I have the leatherman wave, had it for years for work cant fault them with the lifetime warranty,i also have a spyderco H1 and a several green rivers.
I'm loving this combo of minis' :
Little titanium squeak with a S Mini Baton.
The S mini is amazing, so are the Boker Plus DW-1 & 2
Thorien !!! smashie!!!! Please stop posting pics of little nice knives and torches, otherwise my kids won't be getting much at Christmas.
My old work knife/watch combo. Fiendishly sharp blade, carbide window breaker, seat belt/strap cutter, double blade lock, came in a cordura belt pouch but I had one custom made from the harness of a retired BA set. It's been sitting in a box full of stuff since I retired from the service in 2007.......

Chad is active on some knife forums, very nice fella to chat with. Funniest thing he ever stated was that he carries a pink 42 subcom as a every day carry.
The reason being, he always ends up loaning knives to co workers and friends, which they forget to give back. But the pink non locking subcom is always returned to him as no one wants it !
I'm certainly no knife expert but even for such a small knife it's been well designed and ergonomic to use. I can't fault it so far.
Talking of great small knives, I probably need another EDC knife and looking at maybe a spyderco . Can any of you knife guru's recommend a model that's UK 'legal' . It's main use will be for opening boxes, packages and general everyday use.
The spyderco UKPK (UK pocket knife) was designed especially with UK legality in mind

I have lots of legal uk carry knifes many I love for the old style and pattern [you should see my Sardinian and Corsican].
BUT the UKPK is the best knife period in purely functional and usage terms
the design forced by UK laws has actually produced a product that is just superior in every way
"necessity is the mother of invention"
I understand many don't like the modern look, but if I was constantly having to open and close all day [one handed] this is the best.
the urban is nice but you may as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb its basically the same but smaller the UKPK is a better tool.
my 2 [one is spare] are G10 black and green leaf blade the best version imho

I'm not a Knife man at all, but a very good mate forges and makes his own knives and some are pieces of art.
https://lharropknives.com/
I just had to have this one he made, a Damascus blade with an Antler handle, it's very tactile to handle and so detailed, the blade has 400 layers of steel.
He makes absolutely everything by hand, including the handles and cases etc.
My knife.
Couple of youtube videos of Loz making his knives..

Dangerous site that though, getting that link made me buy this, too cheap not to

Yeah the Heinne site can be dangerous for your wallet with all it's cool gizmo's. My own Boker '42 is the Heinie version ( carbon fibre and VG-10 steel) so I have been seduced before by it's wares !
Thanks again for the link, for what I need it for and the price, it's certainly worth a punt.
Was aware of that, thanks, i'll bung the tool in a drawer, never to be seen again. Been after something good but cheap and legal for a while, my locking Buck bought from here years ago and my locking leatherman charge are not legal unfortunately, and my little keyring sak classic sd is a bit piddley.
If looking for something legal in the £60 bracket, a more traditional alternative to the spyderco ukpk is the TBS Boar, which is supposed to be v good

Anyone pre-order the Spyderco Paramilitary 3 yet?
I'm not that happy with the positioning of the clip for tip-up carry. Way too far down the handle.
Rob.
Nice Crimbo prezzie.........................

Christ on a bike - some of these Rockstead knives are a bit expensive

Wanted - Damasko DC57
Yeah, got a couple
Don't think I'd ever get a Rockstead knife, just way beyond my price comfort level for a knife. To be honest though, I've already spent so much more than I ever thought I would!
Couple of newer arrivals:
That is currently one of my most expensive and yet it's actually very good value for money! It's Chinese BUT great quality. It's made by Reate knives and this is the Torrents model. All Titanium scales with anodised hardware. Amazing workmanship for a production knife and buttery smooth (its has bearings in the pivot). Great steel too (M390) with opposing grind lines on various sections of the blade. Beautiful! I've not owned a truly custom knife yet but I'm pretty sure this is up there with the mid-techs at least in terms of quality and fit and finish. In fact it's so nice I haven't actually been able to get myself to use it yet for anything other than cutting paper lol. Love playing with the flipper though and letting the blade close itself. Here's another pic of the other side:
