I circulated a list this year. Bulang and Sons. I'm quite hopeful.
I myself have hinted to the wife for the new stainless steel Bremont DH-88 limited edition model that is being released soon.
Whether I get that lucky or not is another matter.
Has anyone else got any models they are hoping to find under the tree this Christmas?

This beauty. Except it'll probably in January. And paid for by me. So not for Christmas at all really!
Pic from Google somewhere.
Little concerned it seems to wear large in all the pictures I have seen, think it's the long lugs.
Patek Nautilus is my current favourite or 1967 5513 riveted bracelet or 1803 in white gold would be nice....probably get a casio though wife furious as she found out REAL price of my last purchase.....
None. I buy my own.
Thinking about picking up a Rolex sub hulk but just don't think I can bring myself to pay a small premium for it.
A cheap and cheerful vintage diver to add to my collection, if I find one between now and then and can persuade the missus I deserve a pressie.
This but i will have to buy it myself.

Nomos Glashutte tangente 38 standard
I buy my own watches but id quite like a nice watch roll or box.
That said, this seems to have created list confusion since my default setting is "socks".
Same as many others intend to do I've bought myself my own 'Christmas watch' just this morning....
White faced (SS/pre-ceramic) Daytona and I ferrrrrrrrrrrkin' love it already!!!!
None. I've found a new obsession - fountain pens
I'm hoping for a Monaco Calibre 12 and when I say "hoping for", what I really mean is "I realise it's never going to happen in a million years".
Short of a lottery win, I don't think I'll be getting (from myself, Santa or anyone else) any more watches this year.
A few have gone and a few have arrived, I think I've probably stayed even on numbers this year.

None, my wife really does not understand my fascination with watches.
If I want one I will have to buy it myself.
1960s Omega .... waiting for the right one

I buy but then it gets wrapped and given to me.
No watch in the budget but planning to get the steel bracelet for my MB2 Bremont
Maybe treating myself to a Tudor North Flag. But I will more than likely change my mind several times between now and Christmas.
Probably a bit of control-freakery on my part but I enjoy the process of researching my next purchase too much to hand it over to someone else! I've never asked someone to buy me a watch nor been surprised with one - don't think my missus would dare attempt it. :-)

Thanks to Downer, this is waiting for me when I get back to the uk just before Christmas:
Granted, it's a gift from me, to me, and I'll be telling the missus it's a cheap German watch

None. Ł50 present cap, so nothing I'd particularly want at that budget.
I wouldn't want anyone buying me a watch anyway, no different to not liking people buying me clothes they "think" i'll like, which translates to things they'd like to see me wearing, not what I'd actually want to wear
If there's any money left I'd like one of these please Santa (wife):
I'm very unlikely to get another watch for Christmas, after the wedding anniversary present she got me this year, a 1991 14060M. Mrs W did all the research, including talking to a mate, who put her straight when she asked him about a date Sub. Good girl!
So, socks and whisky it is...
I'd hope to receive, say, a Credor Eichi or perhaps just a white gold Sub or platinum Day-Date. But I expect to receive no watches at all. ;-)
Hoping for a lot but I know that's not going to happen. I'd rather pic my own watches anyway.
I've hinted at a book and that's the best I can hope for
My fiancé has bought me a speedy pro... got to wait the 5 weeks to open it now though !

Pretty much have all the watches I want right now, although I did order a copy of the Wristwatch handbook mentioned in another thread.
This arrived and was duly removed and wrapped before I saw it and will re-appear at Christmas.
(I did pay for it though, so that can't be right).
1968 5513, full set, unpolished, all original. Not really holding my breath for this one.

Don't know if Santa will manage it this year, but I would love a late version 16613 bluesy
How does hinting get you what you want exactly?
You WILL have to order the exact watch you desire yourself or else said other half will order the wrong watch and pay well over the odds for it and even if you get lucky and she happens to take the hint and orders the right watch she will still pay too much and it probably won't arrive in time for Christmas!
This is all assuming she has the funds and thinks it's worth paying that much for a watch that looks exactly the same as two/three others already in your Collection
PS if she is reading this I would like the following, thank you very much xx

Early 60s Omega pie-pan Constellation with black dial........if I get around to restoring it in time. The watch has been sat in my projects drwaer for over 2 yrs, all the new parts ate there with the watch, just needs me to get my act together. Even got a NOS genuine Omega rice-grain bracelet to go with it.
Seriously, it's just like getting a new watch nd it's a whole lot cheaper.

Hey-Ho!
Am hoping to sell 2 watches, My Stowa MO and My Seiko SRP775J1
Apple watch 2... it arrived this morning although it almost didn't as the delivery driver gave the package to one neighbor and put the card through the other neighbors door without even knocking on ours.
A Nomos Zürich Weltzeit Nachtblau.
My wife has already had a conversation with the very nice saleswoman Barbara at Wempe, so hopefully they'll come to an arrangement soon so I'll be wearing my new watch by Christmas.
Also hope that Barbara can secure a blue suede strap for the Weltzeit, similar to the one on the Hodinkee special edition Nomos Metro, which would definitely be a welcome bonus!
I'm hoping Santa will come down the chimney and take a couple of mine. Preferably all the ones that don't fit in the damn watch box.
I just spent a couple weeks on holiday in a country far, far, away, and managed to give away two watches as early Christmas presents to friends there. They were both delighted, the poor fools, because they didn't realise that I was chuckling internally with glee at getting rid of a couple of the cursed things!
Hehehe ;)
