Very nice that, jneds! I have a Pepsi version with Duncan and hoping he gets it running and smartens it up a bit.
This arrived today, hard to find, original 7002-7009! Not enough love for these imo and so many just full of AM parts.

Nice 7002-7009 there Guy. I bought a similar one from Billy (Thorien) a couple of years ago. It's totally mint, and prompted me to seek out nice 7002's. Since then I've realised good unmolested 7002's are harder to find than 6309's. The 200m versions especially 7002-7039 are few and far between. The good news is they don't yet command high prices, which I am sure they will in the future when the hobby catches up with them.
Cheers Jim. I love this one, highly underrated! Love the dial plots and the hands have that in-between-6309-and-7s26 look. Dial has a great grey/black colour and with it being the last of the 150M Resist watches I think they're class. Really pleased with it and as you say it's hard to find them like this. Most are full of AM parts and look awful. It's a shame that so many who think they have a 7002 but actually don't because of the mods or am parts are missing something very smart when in original condition. For a watch relatively young I was surprised at how hard it had been to track one down.
I really like the 7039 however I'm more keen on the 17 jewels and 150m Resist versions.

Anyone here buy the 62MAS on eBay this morning?
Well, lucky. But a lot of keeping an eye out on the bidding sites, rather than yahoo this came up on eBay for a reasonableish price so went for it. It was fairly poorly listed and the pictures weren't ideal but I could make out that the dial looked good along with the insert.
2K for the 62MAS... Wow. Do you have an eBay id?
^^^^ It's the J version. Seikomatic what language is the day wheel? English and Arabic? Oh and sapphire mod! Looks great!

Thank you. Too much! Would have to have 62mas hang tags, original box and be in near NOS condition for that money imo. Nice but not 2K nice.
My 007, now with extra Dr.Seikostein for your delectation:

I may have posted these in a non-Seiko thread a long time ago, but they came back anyway to say hi to all the other nice Seikos that have been posted.
They both started as 007s. The one on the left started from a new 007 has a dial and hands from Yobokies and was an attempt at building a mini-Spork. The one on the right was built off a somewhat scratched 007 using the original hands and a dial from Dagaz. The case was fully brushed to hide the worst of the scratches (some were rather deep).
Sadly, neither of them sees much wrist time anymore.

Being released next month, 1000m hi-beat Diver: one piece case, titanium and looks to be 48mm and nearly 20mm thick.......I like the hands!
Guys, I have a question. Maybe wrong place, but a lot of Seiko lovers follow here, and I'm fairly new, so not allowed to post new threads.
But I need some help, so here goes. I recently bought myself a fairly new used SBDC007 Shogun, with a 6R15 movement.
But for some reason, despite it's age, the tube / head tube / crown tube (whatever it's called) is pretty worn, so there aren't much thread left on the screw down crown.
Here in Denmark, the official Seiko import can't supply the tube as a standalone replacement part. You have to buy it together with the casing itself (!!! Yes, weird right?).
So any idea where to source a new tube for a Shogun?
Best Regards,
Bjørn
My SUN019 now on a 5 ring ZULU. It really changes the balance and feel of the watch, in a good way.
I've always been a steel bracelet fan but I'm loving this:
