It's gash.
I don't know about you, but this looks nothing like what you'd expect from Bell & Ross.
I usually love their watches but this is slightly obscure.

I love roman numerals, but it just doesn't look right with a square case. The skeleton versions aren't as bad I guess...
What does everyone else think?
I'm sure I don't like it, very sure even.
Cheers,
Gary
As someone else has pointed out it does not seem to fit in with their target audience and would certainly not interest me. Very odd !
looks like one of those ebay marriage watches not for me.
The back story is here

***shudder***
The back-story makes it a bit more bearable but the screw heads are mis-aligned Hublot-style so it's a no from me.
Bell & Ross ran out of ideas some time ago, most AD's need a 50% Christmas sale to shift stock and this new offering won't change that.
Avoid at all costs.

Certainly not my cup of tea, not sure who this would appeal to, seems to be a complete mix of styles.
I certainly wouldn't buy it but I don't think it is as bad as others have said.
"We expect this limited edition Bell and Ross BR 01 Instrument de Marine to be one of their most memorable models", for all the wrong reasons, hideous.
When you are forced to make something out of a material never intended for that purpose you know that your drawer of Limited Edition ideas has been opened and found to be empty.
but, but..... it's "precious wood". Says so right there in the article.
The mixture of designs doesn't work for me. I like the faux vintage dial, but it doesn't 'fit' in a square contemporary case IMO. If B&R had put it in a round case as part of their heritage / vintage line, or whatever it's called it would have worked better I think. But, out of the collection of the three models in this series, the small seconds model is the least of their worries.
credit where it is due though, they have managed to fit a round hole in a square peg!
i think they have 3 elements that would work as the main attraction elsewhere but when combined are just wrong. like a BLT but with Beetroot, Lima beans and Tofu.
Wow, I like it! It's like a wall-clock!
I actually quite like the look of it, but think it looks ridiculous actually on the wrist.
The problem is they've called it the B&R Marine Watch, which is misleading. If they'd have called it the B&R Tw*t Watch...
That's awful!
Wow (in a bad way (in case you couldn't tell))!
It's £6300! Couldn't think of a better way to waste £6k.
Lookie lookie ...
It's gobsmackingky awful.

It's like they have put all the things I don't like on watches in one watch.....and no that does not in some weird way make it good.
No worse than any B&R.
£6k WTF!!? Watch pricing is getting ridiculous :-(
Expensive services as well; they have to scrape the barnacles off and treat for teredo worm. Not for me...
I found those pretty ugly for sure. The skeleton ones are particularly bad. But how they manged to ruin the perfectly fine round Marine Chronometer dial by using it in a square case!!!

Just wrong on every level....
No, no, no, no no.......
This looks like something from Myst, I think if you align the screws you get the key for the next puzzle?
