Finally completed my collection of 1970's pilot chronographs, also known to collectors as the "Fab Four"... plus an extra member in the form of a sterile MoD Hamilton. Here's a quick photo of the whole family:
The Precista and Newmark are in particularly nice condition. They must both have been issued and then put away in a drawer, because they have very little case wear. The sterile Hamilton has a nice dial, although the case has been polished and the crown is a replacement.
These are all on single-piece shell straps by Rover Haven, which is my favorite way to wear a fixed-bar watch.
Now nobody better suggest I start on a Dirty Dozen collection next, my wife won't have it!
