Get well soon John.
Having seen the 1665 in person thats the one i'd pluck from the collection. That and the 1655 which happens to be my birth year!

Bugger! I meant the 1655! :)
wow! really nice collection, the stand outs are the subs and more so the GMT's for me! lovely!
When i started reading this thread, i thought "nice collection" (when i saw the Omega's and 16610/16710. But then my jaw dropped. Holy sh***BEEEP
Respect OP, that is a stunning collection. If i had to pick one, it would be Great White...oh hell, and Nautilus
Absolutely stunning collection, thanks for sharing.
Love the PP Nautilus in particular, an ultimate grail watch for me, if ever my lottery numbers come in!
Lovely collection, with a great write up. Some stunners in there and whilst obviously Rolex heavy some great variation. Thanks for sharing.
Wowsers that is a nice collection!
Definite standout is that maxi seadweller, which is truly beautiful
What a fabulous, and varied collection - thanks for sharing!
John, I knew that you had some stunning watches. But your vintage collection is just so mouth watering, and got better as I scrolled down :)
My favourite, though slightly misty eyed, is your Rolex from 1958 with the Explorer dial, which is my birth year.
Congratulations to owning many classic pieces.
Your SOTCs are my favourite collection on TZ, so always a pleasure to see. And I have started getting more and more interested in vintage Dates and Datejusts after my recent acquisition from you. I think the linen, grey and blue dialled Datejusts are fantastic. Get well soon.
Great to see your whole collection in one post John. Really not sure how you manage to give them all the wrist time they deserve!
I'd have sacrificed some of the others to keep the Big Red 6263s (but you already know that...!)
We'll have to organise that coffee when you're feeling better - I'll be looking forward to seeing the next Patek in the collection then too!
All the best,
Paul
It has all been said, breathtaking collection.
A superb write up - and collection. Good luck with the hernia?

Thanks Craig, I must be mad to have thoughts about selling the 1665. Bloody watches!
Thank you Tony. The 6480 is a beauty.
Thanks for the kind words Ed. Hope you are enjoying wearing the 1007.
Cheers Paul. The next PP could have at least a couple of digits in common with your lovely 3712.
Hope to see you soon.
Regards
John
Absolutely stunning collection! Would say I have a favourite but in all honesty I would happily wear any of those watches. Gives me inspiration to keep working on my collection!

Now thats a stunner
Next, a 1930’s/40’s Heuer two register chronograph with lovely brown tropical dial. Likely worn in the WW2 years…
Stunning collection.
Wonderful collection indeed .... specifically love your DJ collection 👍🏻
Fantastic read, really enjoyed scrolling through the post,
Simply wonderful collection.. My blue datejust is a keeper for now but I'll give you first dibs if I want to sell her. I think it maybe some time though.... Best, James.
Wow! Now that is impressive.
Haven't logged in for a while (sorry!) so how wonderful to see such an amazing collection - enjoy them all!!
FFS, I'm at work you know and you bombard my laptop with your astonishing collection of 'tat'. My collection (which currently numbers, 1) would be augmented supremely with your maxi 5513, 6238 and 369 Explorer. That'd be me done, end of. I will PM you my address. Thanks John and GWS.
Sorry to "bump" a relatively old post, but as much as I enjoy a ceramic Daytona and omega snoopy thread, I need to remember what the forum and this hobby is all about...
If you've missed it, you are in for a treat :-)

Superb John! A great mix of everything.
Showing Off, thats what I bloody call it, just Showing Off, seriousely I could look at these all day!
Thank you D'81! Alas, I am number four on the list for a 'ceramic' Daytona at the local...my profile has been submitted to Rolex, evidently. I'm not precious about stickers, at all, content to wait the two and a half years that accompanies fourth place and looking forward to seeing the day...
Thanks Wayne, shame the 6239 didn't last v£ry long...
Now, there's a man, who knows, loves and cherishes a great vintage Rolex. Cheers Bob, hope all is well.
No, thank you. I'd enjoyed your post and Lewis' a lot. Great collections and great efforts.
How's the recovery going BTW?

It's just a matter of time...
Simply awesome post, the vintage Rolex section makes my jaw drop - what a collection and thank you for sharing..
What a fantastic collection! Dont be surprised if you see a PM one day in your inbox from me wanting to free up some space of yours..
