I've had one full time for about 18months now. Works well superb with Oyster card on tube etc to protect from double paying. And light and easy
No affiliation, but I've just bought a Secrid Slim Wallet through these guys
http://www.slimwalletjunkie.com/
The wallet is great - feels good quality & is very compact - small enough to fit in a front trouser pocket so less likely to fall out, or get lifted.
The RFID safe card holder does really only take 4 cards with embossed numbers as most UK credit cards have. But that's not a problem. The wallet will take a few more cards if needed, but I'm now using the KeyRing App to carry around digital versions of all my loyalty and membership cards incl. driving licence etc.
Takes a bit of getting used to not carrying around a big old wallet stuffed full of receipts etc. but it's really quite liberating.

Can you just confirm which app that is Andy...I've searched under keyring and nothing springs out (or I'm being dense)

Timely for me - need a new compact wallet
This looks good
I assume it is this: https://www.keyringapp.com/
Downloaded it and seems really helpful, but I only have 2 loyalty cards, and one of those (Shell) needs to be swiped so cant be imported. Still, looks like a helpful app if you have several to get rid of.
I'm a fan of these guys too:

I have the same wallet Andy and it is superb I get many comments on it when I flick the cards out.
I have a Bellroy and find the quality a bit iffy; certainly less than I expected for the price.
Rather than start a new thread, has anyone found an easy solution for carrying the CAT5 drivers cards for a tracker? They are one of the easiests ways to add instant bulk to a wallet.
Brilliant Andy - thanks so much - have been looking for exactly this for years!
But now I am torn between;
this one
and this one
I have a couple of Bellroy wallets (a "Very Small" and an "Elements Pocket") and they have done a very good job of reducing the amount of crap that I carry around with me.
I've tried using the Stocard app (http://stocardapp.com/) to store details of all my cards, but I found that a lot of shops weren't able to scan the barcode from the phone's screen. Apparently this is down to the capabilities of the scanners and has nothing to do with the app. When I changed phones I lost the data and couldn't be bothered to scan all my cards again.
I'm very happy with my Saddleback Leather Business / Credit Card Wallet. I have seen those Secrid thingies a couple of times and almost bought one, but decided it was a bit too technical in the end. Old fashioned for me please.

Can’t upload a real life pic, as photobucket is down, but I think many of us, like the OP, have gone through a phase of carrying bulky wallets only to realise we don’t need all the stuff inside.
I use one of these - https://www.aspinaloflondon.com/prod...d-cobalt-suede
I carry six cards and a driving license. It will hold a couple of notes, but I choose to carry money separately. I don’t see the need for any more on a daily basis.
Personally, I don’t see the need for the RID technology yet, but that’s perhaps just me and these just add bulk in my opinion, but are a good step away from the bulging wallet option.
I bought a Secrid (similar to the leather one above) just before Christmas, and am getting on great with it. I took the effort to decide which cards I really needed, and offloaded those that I only need in the car (Costco card and RAC card) to a small wallet that lives in the centre console out of view. I made the decision to go notes-only since I only use coins when paying for parking, so I got a coin capsule with a few coins in that also lives in the car and another for my work laptop bag. I thought it would become an issue but a month in and it's not a problem.
I also bought another wallet at the same time for when I'm off out for a beer and want a super-slim wallet;

It's very very nicely made and the pull-tab for releasing your main card(s) works superb. Very well thought out and I like details like the liner being the same material they used for accents on the outside.
If you can't see yourself slimming your wallet down to 4 or 5 cards to fit the Secrid, you can always get a second card carrier (much cheaper at £24 due to not having the leather around it) and offload your lesser used cards to it so they can be stashed in your bag or car or wherever;

I must say that Trove elastic/leather wallet looks superb.
I've had that SecrIDwallet for a while, and use the Stocard App for store cards etc.
very good with Barcodes and facility to take pics of back & front of cards.
I keep looking at these kind of wallets but I'm afraid of coins. What do you do if you get coins as change?
I've something like this for years for carrying coins

Never liked coins in my main wallet and this sort of thing stops them falling out of your pockets when driving - which can happen a lot in low seated sports cars.

Got myself an Allett wallet a year or so ago. Really good quality, very thin and has a zip pocket for coins

Tried quite a few compact wallets over the years. Bellroy is well designed but the leather quality felt cheap. Also got a Saddleback credit card wallet. Lovely leather but just a little too small for Brutish notes even when folded
For the last couple of years been using a compact wallet from Sage Brown. Perfect size for suits and jeans pockets, decent leather, holds 6 cards easily, fits our notes without folding and has a rear pocket/slip for my Oyster card.

I picked up one of these iclips a couple of months ago & not used anything else since.
I already have a Secrid but I have just ordered this as after watching it on a video it is brilliant and will give me the choice of something even less bulky than the Secrid

I've got a couple of those Secrid wallets knocking about. Keep your eye on SC and I'll Fundraiser raffle them when I get chance.
Ordered one of those Trove ones - looks clever.
I thought SC was the way to slim down your wallet....
I am going to get one of the Securid wallets. Does anyone know what makes up the thickness of the Miniwallet vs the Slimeallet? Is it just the popper? Or is there something on the inside?
I think it's just the popper

This kickstarter project looks great. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...et/description
But there is no way to back it anymore :(
I thought SC was enough to slim down any wallet ...
Ordered, many thanks for posting. Just what I was after.
Thanks Andy, since posting I had a think and realised asking a vendor was the best way of getting the correct answer.
I promptly received the following response (which conforms your answer):
Hi Phil,
Thanks for getting in touch. Good question - the button clasp is the only thing affecting the thickness between these wallets, other than that they are almost identical. If you intend to fill the wallet with quite a lot of stuff, the Miniwallet can actually end up being slimmer in the long run as the clasp keeps it all nice and compact.
The only other difference is that the leather on the Slimwallet is cut slightly wider, so it has a longer profile width wise by a centimeter or two.
I hope that helps clear it up, but let me know if there is anything further I can help with.
Kind regards,
David
It's not a proper TZ-UK wallet thread if it doesn't have a mention of All-ett http://www.all-ett.com/
