That is sickening news.
Not sure what good it will do but I will certainly keep an eye out.
As you say, these are not common watches so fingers crossed for you.
I know there is the Lost & Stolen sub forum, but wanted to try and reach a wider audience here.
I'm pretty shaken up, so apologies for any bad grammar in this post.
I went or for a couple of hours earlier, was in a hurry and didn't lock the chubb lock, came back and after about an hour went to where I keep my watches and saw they'd all been taken. Also the boxes which were empty had been taken, but nothing else in the flat had gone!
There was no forced entry, so I don't know if it was a lock picker or someone that had a copy of the keys (as the flat is rented)
I feel utterly sick as I hadn't sorted out home insurance and these were part of my savings.
But the watches that were taken were:
Omega speedmaster Alaska Project 0610/1970 - serial number 77213547
Tudor Pelagos - Has watches.co.uk logo sticker on box
Vintage Tissot Seastar Chronograph - this doesn't have the original tachy bezel, but dive bezel instead
Precista prs 50b - only 200 made, and was on bright orange obris morgan
Precista prs 3
Seiko 6602-8050
Cheap Tissot quartz dress watch
Also a Rolex and Panerai box were taken
Also a Rolex box
I'm kind of hoping that the Alaska Project might help as they don't come up for sale that often, plus the Precistas, especially the 50B aren't very common at all.
But if anybody notice one of these watches for sale anywhere please let me know.
I'm now off to have a massive whisky.
Have been searching pics and found one I took where you can see the serial number, which is 77213547

So sorry mate. Where do you live? Just in case the watches turn up in a local place. Might help the community keep an eye out.
God this makes me sick. I sincerely hope whoever did this gets caught eventually. I will keep an eye out. You may want to send the serial numbers to the manufacturer?
Terrible news mate, have you got any details of serial numbers, pics, etc?
Really sorry to hear this Tris, terrible news.
Are your Rolex GMT and Panerai safe at least?!
Have you reported it to the police? It must have been someone who knew exactly what to look for?

Sounds like someone new they where there
I hope you find them, what did the police say?
Bloody awful news.... I'll raise a whisky to you as most on here would recognise how awful that might feel..
Terrible news Tris. Targeted theft do you think given the circumstances?
Hoping you get some positive news.
Thieving scumbags I hope they get their comeuppance several times over. Very sorry for you
Terrible news. So sorry to hear. I hope you get a positive outcome.
Awful news, I'm really sorry to hear this.
I know a lot of us already do, as most are posted on this site but in light of this it is a good idea to take detailed photos of an expensive/sentimental watches and store them away. This is awful news and I really hope they find the scumbag!!!
That's awful.
Sympathies to you and hope they catch the bastard.
Tris,
Very sad news indeed. What absolute b***ards.
Really hope the police can help and that they get recovered for you.
Very sorry to hear about this sort of thing happening and its not nice, il certainly keep a look out for you .
That's horrible, my sympathies .

marchingontogether!
What a nightmare! Terrible, terrible news. I hope the watches turn up again.
So sorry to hear this. Very much hope some or all of them will turn up.
Utter, utter scum. Whether it's watches or anything else, breaking in to someone's property with the view to stealing hard earned possessions is pretty darn low.
Fingers crossed for you, and this has been a dig in my ribs reminding me to record all details of my own collection.
That's blo**y awful. Sorry to hear your news and hope you get them back.
Sean
Sorry to hear your sickening news.
What a nightmare, horrible news. Hope they catch them and you get your collection back.
Very sorry to hear your bad news. I will make a note of these models and keep eyes peeled...
That is really terrible, a reminder for everyone to make sure insurance is in place.
Fingers crossed they catch the scum and you get your watches back.
Fecking Bestards. Lets hope the dope they buy with the money causes them to suffer an overdose.
Gutting...
Gutted for you mate..
Gutted for you Tris.
F-ing low lifes! I'm really sorry to hear this.
That sucks. I hope they left enough evidence for a quick arrest - one can hope
Gray
I'm so sorry for you, I really am.
2015 has let you down pretty badly watchwise.
scooter
Very sorry to hear this. Were the watches in a safe or hidden away?
What an awful thing to happen, I do sympathise.
Gutted for you. Certainly sounds like someone knew what they were looking for - especially if the watches were tucked away somewhere .
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
Very sad about this Mate... as a fellow watch lovers, We all know how we value our watches... Hope You'll be able to trace the Thieve... Any CCTV around? Glad He left the Pam...
Dreadful dreadful news.
When you get your head together, think long and hard about anybody you may have had big discussion with or a showing to in the last 6 months or so. Analyze that and have a good think.
Wish you best....
It just sounds targeted. Only watches taken. No forced entry. When I lost my IWC at a gym some years back I spoke to the person who sold it to me (a dealer). He was able to trace it within a week - the market for these items is only so big. I got it back - no questions asked for £700. Can you speak to someone in the trade who may know where these items pass through?
Very sorry to hear this news and wish you every success in getting them back.
Do you have a local rag that you could contact, sometimes they cover stories like this and it may make it a little more public and hopefully harder for the scumbags to dispose of the watches. Is it also worth offering a small reward for their safe return ?
What a rotten thing to experience, my commiseration to you.

Ignorance breeds Fear. Fear breeds Hatred. Hatred breeds Ignorance. Break the chain.
I feel for you pal and really hope you somehow get them back.
As a few above have said it sounds like a targeted robbery so you should think long and hard the past few weeks.
Also, you mentioned the property is rented? Was this recent? If so, maybe have a chat with the landlord or lettings agent? Who's to say the previous tenant may still have a copy of the keys? I've got friends in the trade and it's been known to happen.
