Love the blue John. Always kick myself for not buying one that was offered to me about 6 years ago now...
Just picked up a pair of lovely vintage Datejusts. A wonderful sunburst blue dial (which takes on different shades of blue in differing light) and a matt black dial. Not the cheapest Datejusts that I have purchased, but in my experience, black and blue dial vintage Datejusts are pretty hard to find, especially ones in perfectly intact original condition. The scarcity factor is multiplied somewhat when looking for a smooth bezel 1600 variant. Anyway, I thought I would share a few pictures of a pair of timeless classics, for the vintage cognoscenti amongst us.

Lovely pierces especially the blue
They are 2 good looking DJ's.
I love the blue date just! Good catch!
One day I'll find a sunburst blue to add to the stable.
Just to be awkward lol ......... I really like the black dial version. I could quite happily wear that :-)
Either way, that's a great pair of watches.
Love the blue
Both look very nice!!!
Nah horrible John you need to offload one of those DJ's as you are spoilt for choice...! ;@)

The blue is a beauty and looks to be in good condition, great find.
Nice.
Torn between blue and black though.
Best send me both ;-)

Black covers every occasion but the blue is a bit more casual imo - something for the weekend sir!. But if they were in my watchbox they would always bring a smile to my face. Class will out.
Thank you for the comments everybody & to 'mrushton'...they each do just that, bring a smile to my face, each time I put one on. For me, that is what this lark is all about.
blue one is awesome , love it
Very, very nice . I love that blue dial ...have a bit of a thing for blue dials lately .
Blue for me too I'm afraid, lovely.
Both lovely, the blue in particular! Great watches.
