New arrival - Yachtmaster - some more (truly awful) pics

just collected this this morning along with a white dial Milguass, although that was a gift to a friend.

This is my first experience of newer Rolex clasps and i have to say i am quite impressed. I love the blue dial / platinum bezel combo, i wouldn't normally be a fan of PCL's but as a package i think this all works together.

Just one quick iPhone pic, will try and get some more over the weekend rugby allowing!

    Hagwe everyone.

I do like that Neville. I was offered one in trade a while ago and turned it down. Can't remember why now.

Wow! That is very very nice. As someone else said, I really like the red second hand.

    Congrats!

    Great looking watch
All the colours and the metal sit well together
    Dial text is also minimal
It's a beautiful watch which is both sporty and dressy

I had looked at pictures of this before and tbh it didn't really do much for me but last friday i meet up with the guy about the Milguass and he had bought this along along with a 42mm Explorer II white dial. After seeing this in the flesh and trying it on, well it got me, soooo much better in real life than the pics i'd seen and it just felt great on...............................so sold to the fat irish bloke who needs another watch like a hole in the head!!

Lovely watch. Very nearly had one of these myself. The blue dial is stunning and the lugs curve down nicely to hug the wrist.

    Suits you Nev!

One of the best bang for buck you can buy in my opinion and pretty timeless.

I have the gents and my wife a midsize, both platinum dial.

Sold mine in a rush to a guy at work who flaunts it at me daily... Should have kept hold, a great watch and one of Rolex' best.

Looks stunning with the darker dial (not a fan of the platinum).

I've always thought that, if I could ever afford a Rolex, this exact model might be the one.

    Stunning.

Ditto - I took one in a trade with Andy Tims (let him have THE MOST perfect 16600, too) and thought it was too blingy, so moved it on without ever putting it on my wrist. Big mistake.

Nev. That is a rather lovely example of a Rolex that is different from the standard submariner. I really like that one. Do post some further picture if you get time I'd like to see some more.

    Fantastic watch.

As people have mentioned, the red accents on that beautiful watch just finish it off perfectly. It's stunning.

Thank you for all the positive comments, now i have had it for a few days i can honestly say this is the nicest Rolex i have had, wears so differently to the black dialed / black bezelled, or even pepsi or coke bezelled, versions i have had before. It took me the few days to get used to the platinum bezel but it is a thing of beauty.

Anyhow, i am most definitely not a photographer and i don't even own a camera!, but here are a few more iPhone snaps I've taken. This is a really difficult watch to capture, pictures really do it no justice at all, so much better in the flesh.

Nev, you're a much better photographer than you give yourself credit for. You've got yourself an impressive watch there. Enjoy it!

Lovely watch Nev, I nearly went for one of these recently to accompany my Hulk. I think this and the Sub LVc (which I have) are the two nicest looking modern Rolex.
    Enjoy mate.

I love the colour combination of the dial and the red second hand :)

I was at my solictors picking up paperwork last week and he had one on ,

I know he's a watch junkie like the rest of us and said Al what you wearing today :)

I had a wg daydate on which he said take it off lets see it then handed me his blue yachty ,

lovely blue on the dial is really really nice electric blue which I like a lot more than the normal silver plat dial .

enjoy nev , wear in best of health
