A surprisingly mint-condition WWII-era watch from Thailand, you say? Hmm...

Looks good I think based on my limited knowledge but I would love to know a little more about JLC produced in that era if anyone could help.

Yes my thoughts too especially since the text is much like those emails you get from time to time....
But since I know very little in this area of watches at the mo for all I know they could be well regarded specialists (cough) so I thought I'd ask about the watch & see if anyone proffered any further info about the seller.
This is what would put me off:
DIAL : Black Dial sign " ( Professional redial ).
The only way to be really sure is put a thread up on mwrforum.net. In my view there's something not quite right with the case - the JLC WWWs I'm used to seeing have a more thickset bezel - and the extent of the polishing on its' own would put me off. Here's a picture taken from a WWW on MWR that had been restored by Le Sentier.
It is wrong, the case should have an internal screw thread and a ring to secure the dial/glass in place. As said the dial is new and fresh, the stem looks too small a tap size and the movement has the wrong engraving.
Looks ok to me, here are (bad) pictures of mine:
It's worth pointing out that at least one comment on MWR (plus jimmy above) says that the case is correct but over-polished so my first point above doesn't stand.
another great watch, very glad there are those with plenty of knowledge on here.
