Driven. A Stallone drivel fest. I didn't see it when it was released some years back as I thought it would be shite. Was on TV last night.
i was so right......utter shite.

Had a bad run of terrible films recently inc Robocop remake, Man of tai chi, White House down and a few others that my mind have shut out....... all drivel
I speak as someone who holds Verhoeven's original in the highest regard so I approached the remake very gingerly but I actually quite enjoyed it. It's obviously not a patch of the original and has no teeth in comparison, but I wouldn't go so far as to say it was rubbish. The ED209s were cool!
Effects movie IMHO the story and Verhoeven's original were forgotten. Always loved the original so "knew" I would hate remake. Perhaps a self fulfilling prophesy
Watched Das Boot this afternoon, never seen it before and tbh I switched it off after an hour, total garbage.
Operation Condor with Jackie Chan. Boy was it bad, but I have a feeling it was made to be that way...at least I hope so.
Watched Flash Gordon the other day.......I'll never get that time back.
There's been an enormous amount of sheer tripe on TV lately, and some of these may be dupes...
Avengers
Keith lemon movie
Captain America 1
Oceans twelve
Place beyond the pines
Sweeney
But it's not all bad news, over the last few weeks I've watched the hangover, the dark knight, Forrest Gump (again), killer Joe and the equaliser and enjoyed the lot!
I watched Solaris this week. I sensibly recorded it, so I could skip the poisonous advertising.
It was very slick, and had a lot of promise. The female lead was very distracting, very attractive.
There was however, a lot of syrupy backstory that went on and on.
There is an obvious hommage to Kubric: but the film had the feel of something that was made to have a universal appeal, and this let it down for me: way too much ' chick flick' content.
I must try reading Stanislaw Lem's original, see how it links in, and if it is a bit more exciting.
Keith Lemon the Movi.........oh I can't be arsed. I should have known better as can't stand him on TV anyway.
the OFF button was my friend last night
I tried watching Inherent Vice yesterday & gave up after 40 minutes. Must be me as it has had some decent reviews.
Pacific Rim was awesome, your all mad!!
Must confess I love Pacific Rim as a fun film but can see why people hated it
Tron: Legacy
The Gambler. Who on earth finances this nonsense? Within 3 minutes the entire plot is mapped out and then basically nothing happens for 2 hours. What a waste of John Goodman and Michael K Williams as well.
Whoever casted Mark Wahlberg as a professor should be lined up and shot.
Left behind (nicholas cage)
The poster looks like this....
The film is more like this
2/10 being generous!
Mortdecai starring Johnny Depp and Gwyneth Paltrow isn't worth watching in my opinion. Worth giving this one a miss
Agree with Noah, bunch of crap that was!!
Do yourselves a favour and go see Kingsman while it's on the big screen. Absolutely frikking bonkers, even some vague horological references.
Birdman, we struggled through the first 30mins then switched it off, total garbage!
Taken 3

The American is a 2010 American thriller film directed by Anton Corbijn and starring George Clooney
Total rubbish, big holes in the plot and unexplained reasons for what is going on and why.
[QUOTE=Thom4711;3400895]No. It is truly awful.[/QUOTE
I really liked the first half, then it went to shit
Tried watching the double the other night, bit 1984ish I thought, until I thought garbage that is and binned it
We use 'IMDB' to check film reviews, anything below 6.5 is going to be bad!!!!
Just finished Hanna, really didn't do anything whatsoever for me.
Hannah might not have done anything for you but not Total Rubbish.
