They're a nice watch and superb value for money. Can't view the pics as don't have the required post count, but will look forward to your pics.
How much of a bargain did you get it for? Have seen a few around being offered at great prices lately.
I wanted it for a long time, I had searched everywhere and found it right here, take it just now from an italian friend of this forum

some pics
and now i'm looking for a strap vintage for this beauty
I have always wanted to try one out. What do you think of the build quality? Congratulations.
Congratulations.
I enjoy mine a lot. I also bought the Steinhart vintage style leather strap/deployant to go with it but have never had the bracelet off it suits it so well.
It's a budget watch (still more than the average punter spends on a watch) but build quality is such it represents excellent value for money - and as a mixed heritage homage it somehow manages to have its own style. It looks particularly swish in the post room.
Cheers

very beatiful!!! i want one
Great looking vintage-esque watch!
Love the watch on the leather strap, it looks fantastic :)
Very nice. I freely admit to thinking quite highly of Steinharts - I have two; a Marine Chronometer II and a newly acquired Ocean 44. Whilst they are both very different styles of watch, I'm very impressed with the quality.
This one also looks good and manages to pull off the faux-vintage look very well, I think.
I've never noticed before that it's fitted with a red crown tube...

Same here. It's that little detailing and the red at zero one the bezel that lifts this. I've been looking for a little something else and can't justify/ afford a big spend right now- and yes I know it's a homage etc but for the money this piece is looking pretty good right now- and I really like the leather strap combos. bet it looks good on a NATO too. Anyone got pics of that combo?
What a good looking watch... I just wonder who felt the need to include the word vintage on the face? Apart from that, I think they did a great job matching the colours.
I know what you mean but I wonder if it is to put it further out of the replica category - by making it very clear that it is a vintage-style piece for those who like the style and the look of aged lume and not trying to pretend to be anything 'authentic'. Part of me commends that honesty...
I also used to think like you. Many times I was about to buy it but just that stopped me: the word "vintage" on the dial.
Then I decided, and I bought it. and I must say that when I wear it, the writing is so small that even you realize that there.
Now I bought the leather strap,
today Steinhart sent me an email . by the end of the week send it.
How does it get put new photos
Looks fabulous on the new strap, you must be very pleased.
Great looking steinhart :-)
gotta say they have done a very good job on this watch!
I really like this watch, it looks great on either the bracelet or leather.
Enjoy it.
a Steinhart is my next purchase
Is the crystal plexi?
More Steinhart love from me
