The original Milgauss or the new Seamaster 300 master coaxial for me.
The Omega 15000 Gauss is a bit quirky, trying to be the Milguass with a funky second hand but to me it looks out of place.
The new Milgauss looks great in any colour combination but is a little large for my tastes
Mil - had one before, would have one again!
Omega for me.I like the looks more and love the fact the movement uses such modern materials, a soft iron inner case is no longer needed.
Daddel
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
Rolex GV for me.
Depends which Milgauss you're talking about, if it's a vintage 1019 then the Milgauss.
I suspect you're talking about the modern incarnation in which if a GV then it's a close call, but the Omega just pips it for me. :)
Omega by a long shot, it's a genuinely impressive design and wipes the floor with the Rolex, on a technical front.
That new blue Milgauss is darned pretty though!
Milgauss meh, never got what the fuss is about myself, bar the original that is.
You will probably enjoy a look at this

The Rolex please.
IMO Rolex usually wins by a much more consistent and cleaner designs, nicer bracelet and casework, and better movements if compared to Omega. Bette resale value too...
I think he means about the newer dial colour - Blue not the black version with the green glass.
I would have the Milly also but the Omega is a little different in how they have gone about it, with the open back and materials that are not magnetic.. either way its on the list!
Black dial GV did it for me
I like Omega's technical solution to the problem - fixing it at source, not covering it up ;) - and think the 38.5mm version would make an excellent do-anything sort of watch. However I can't get past the name on the dial, and that blue Milgauss looks fabulous - although I'll ignore the larger opinion here and take one without the green glass. So a Milgauss it is. In both cases, I don't mind the funky second hands, it stops them looking too po-faced.
...but what do I know; I don't even like watches!
I really like the new blue dial Milgauss. The only problem I have with it is the same as when I had my GV - I always have a niggling feeling that the second hand is a weeeeeee bit comedy. I wish they had gone for a 1019-style arrow instead, or left the hand unpainted so it was less obvious...
Milgauss GV for sure, still need to check out the new blue dial version though
I'm not the biggest fan of the actual 15,000 gauss but Omega is rolling out that movement across other models so you will be able to have the choice of a number of watches with the same movement. If, however, you are looking to directly compare the milgauss with the 15,000 gauss I would probably take the white face milgauss. Despite being very popular, i'm not a fan of the green crystal, especially with the new blue dial. Blue, orange and green is a colour combination that i'm not fond of.
The Omega bracelet is crap :(
I wanted to order one of these - but just could believe they used the clasp mech that they did.
It's just a matter of time...
This is what ruins all the current Milgauss range for me. Sorry, but imo it's just plain tacky. There is a line and I think the black/yellow of the Omega is just inside it, but the lightning bolt is way over it. And I've never understood the green glass thing. Ugly, clashes with the colours of the dials/hands under it and makes it look like the glass just needs a good wipe clean.
Neither
save the money and buy a 'standard' Aqua Terra.
Aside from additional Magnetic protection, both watches are bit 'marmite' aesthetically, particularly the Milgauss I prefer the Explorer I.

Omega for me. I think the "fix problem at source" approach is more elegant as an engineering solution, and I really like the yellow-and-black hand. Having handled it I really don't like the bracelet though; I reckon it would look best on black leather.
