    Let's see your JLCs

I have had several JLCs over the years. Some have come and gone. This one, the Master Calendar in SS I think is one of their all time classic watches. I think it is a terrible shame they don't still make this model. This one is the Boutique edition with the magnificent Ruthenium dial.

I have developed a bit of an obsession for the JLC master hometime... Hope to add to this thread soon when one pops up. Any current owners feel free to taunt me with theirs ;)

That one is 40mm and the strap is a Camille Fournet.

And here is a JLC Reverso Retrograde Chrono. One of their most incredible Chrono movements.

My first, a 1970 memovox gt with a cal 825 movement. Plan on getting a futurematic and another 70's memovox in the future.

    Master Réserve de Marche.

Between the OEM Black Shiny Crocodile and a Camille Fournet Shiny Hazelnut Alligator it is an incredibly versatile piece of class for any dressy occasion.

Add the OEM Tan Ostrich and a Camille Fournet Navy Blue Alligator, I can just about get away with wearing it any time I need an excuse

Red face Are there any Master Controls with white or ivory dials?

I don't really like the 'silver sunburst' or black dials on a JLC. Lovely watches though. :)

    Thanks.

Call me a heathen but that would look fantastic as a chronograph (think Speedy Pro) and without the moon and year, just a nice simple elegant watch. Is it some sort of amnesia or time travel special? Being self employed I regularly forget what day it is but month and year?

I haven't taken any pictures of mine yet, so here's one taken by the guy I bought it from. It's a Master Control. I hope to get some better pics up soon.

Likewise, I have been eyeing up the Master Hometime for a few months now. Tried one on in Westflields (White City) a few weeks back. It's now my top contender for an upcoming purchase! ;-)

I no longer have this but thought you'd appreciate it...

Lovely watch and photo Java - that dial is stunning. Some nice JLCs in this thread, I look forward to seeing some more! Sadly not found one I've fallen in complete love with to give them a go.

ooh! this is going to be a fun thread! Forgive me while I harvest my files - some of these are now sadly no longer with me but three still are - the Tribute to Polaris 1968, NSA, and the Reverso GMT.

    and

and just because..... and apologies as I've posted a few of these before...

    Grand Taille - now gone

my old Reserve de Marche alongside the GT and Polaris

my 1931 Reverso (sadly gone to aide in the acquisition of a grail)

but if I won the lottery then I'd have to have this! Tried it on in Geneva....

I have this Master Quartz from the 1970's, which (in my opinion) has an absolutely stunning dial.

I was at a TZ pub meet a couple of years ago with LTF et al, when a very nice chap sat down next to me and casually passed over one of the watches he had brought.

It was a JLC Gyrotourbillon worth well over £250k.

He wore it regularly and it looked fantastic with swirlies and the odd ding!
So clever my foot fell off.

This was my one and only JLC.

As someone said earlier, a very comfortable bracelet.

Exactly what you should do; IMO it's pointless buying things to let sit in a box, or if you're too scared to wear them.

ETA I need to get myself a JLC at some point, but I'm really not sure which model takes my fancy.

I don't believe I've owned a JLC amongst the many watches I've had whilst on here, but they produce some absolute stunners and the MUT Moon and MUT Perpetual are right up my list. I'd happily own one of both despite their many similarities. That DeepSea Chrono Vintage is a stunner too.

The MAster Calendar is my favourite too. tried one of the old models on in Selfridges last year and fell in love with it. Shame I didn't have £6800 quid in my back pocket...

    Rubbish old thing.

Here you go - bit of an old lump by comparison to some of the lovely things appearing on this thread.

    But I love it !

Quite a rare bit of history - LeCoultre Deep Sea Master Mariner.
