Looks like a good fit for you. If you get a chance, I'd appreciate it if you could provide the lug to lug measurement.
it seemed small at first, being so used to the bigger one. Got it from Chris Hooper and it came on a vanilla smelling rubber strap. I had a new bracelet with 19mm end links, so a few minutes with a file and there you go. About 38mm without the crown, 18mm lugs
Very nice watch, the bezel seems to have 120 clicks. My wrist is 6 7/8 by the way.
I don't have a full size marathon, so I took a picture next to my explorer II to compare.

That looks good and a very practical size. How does the "chunkiness" compare to the standard TSAR / GSAR in terms of it's height.?
I had a MSAR at one point and my one complaint was that it was disproportionally hefty compared to it's width.
Looks good, tritium dial?
Got to admire (I think!) anyone who can take a file to their watch/bracelet!
What sort of price is the midsized one, if you don't mind me asking?
Jason
I like that. I never bothered with the full size one as I thought it would be too big for me but this mid size looks good.
That looks really nice. Never knew there was a new size. Congrats!
Looks a decent size. Could be tempted.
Any idea of price & where to source?
That looks to be a very sensible size.
i got it from Chris hooper at chonometer.net for $485 us. The lump is green tritium with orange at 12. It looks a bit tall for the size when i got it, but i did not notice it when on my wrist.
Nice to see a mid-sized diver being released for those of us who struggle with the 42mm which seems to be the default manufacturing size these days.
Nice watch, and a good size. It looks a lot better on a bracelet than a strap, kudos to the file-meister.
I genuinely thought this thread was going to be about a relaunched chocolate bar. Quite disappointed
Nice work on the bracelet, it really makes the watch.
It looks like the width of the black part of the bezel is smaller than the full size (40mm) version. I'd therefore guess that the face is actually the same size?
I like the look of that very much. Please let me know if you ever decide to flip!
Tom
Marathon is going to release a matching bracelet for this model.

Looks very nice!
Yes yes, love it big marathon fan.Jsar for me .. Though
Very nice... I've admired e Marathon range from afar as they would be massive for me... so another added to my watchlist:-)
That is Very Nice! I have the composite navigator and although it's very practical it's almost too light. This looks ideal.
Finally, a modern Marathon that I can wear without having to take the tube in flippers and wetsuit.
