Good day all! I have an older PRS18A enroute and was wondering if anyone could tell me the production date based on the serial number. It's on older model with the ETA 2824 movement and has serial number 0690128. Also, would this be a Fricker made case? Thanks all!

Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
Maybe slightly off topic, but as we are talking about manufacturers, after it got lots of scratches due to an accident, I completely disassembled a Kemmner manufactured PRS-18 for refinishing it's surface and hence had the possibility to take a closer look,
the build quality is throughout excellent.
I can not see how another manufacturer could do it any better.

This is weird...I was doing some lazy day Googling and found this thread. It appears to be a clone of the thread I started here but with a few minor changes...am I going crazy here???

Not to mention that it would appear that the clone thread was started a day before mine...Twilight Zone?

That's not the only suspect post on that forum... at random.

The original appears to be here on WUS and again timed a day later.
