Longines Legend Diver. How many different versions are they and the different specs.

Let's see them.

I love my LLD with date.
I like both date and non date.

Date with depth rating on dial
All in stainless case but there is a rose gold version of these as well.
mine says hi!
Date, no depth rating.
Tbh, I'd prefer the non-date, but life's never perfect, is it?
Nice Strap Draygo!
How are people finding these size wise? How big are your wrists? I have 7" wrists and feel the case may be a tad on the big side. Thanks.
Draygo - thanks. Unless alcohol gets the better of me I will always try a watch on before making a purchase!
Just noticed there's a no date for sale on Watchfinder for 950.00GBP....

No date does look a lot more balanced (are they still in production?). Is the lume different between models also?
Anyone want the original Longines Twin Crown Diver? They are hard to find in crisp condition but this looks like a particularly good one with an unusually sharp case.

I like these... very classy!
I think the LLD might of had a few variations of hand set from what i have seen… but that has mainly be on the hour hand lume (full hand or just on the tip as the modern version has) but the minute hand just doesn't look right on that one to me.
The LLD is one of the most successful watches to have been re-issued in my opinion. I love that there was hardly anything altered and kept closely to the original!
Here is shot of my no date version.
Still on the original strap…
These are nice straps, but not as nice as the Morellato Cordura if you can find them (the Morellato doesn't have box stitiching and is finer weave Cordura). The HR ones are available in the UK from Weston Watch Straps. Be aware that they have a hard plastic insert where the spring bar goes and consequently can sometimes be a pig to remove (YMMV).
Saw one on a very nice NATO strap recently, surprised how much I liked it as I don't usually like NATO straps. It really worked well though and defo put it on my to buy radar
It's a beautiful watch. I saw it in the flesh on a chance visit to Goldsmiths and spend a while chatting to the salesman about it while trying it on. A great looking watch, really comfortable too, and just doing a Google image search for it shows that it works really well on a massive variety of straps (and yes, even on a NATO!).
I had the money for it too just a month ago, but my wife convinced me that it'd be more sensible to put that onto my credit card bill instead of spending it on just one watch. I can't blame her though, that was the correct thing to do (but not the fun thing).
For info - Iconic watches sell the date version for £1,065 and that's where I would've gone to get it. Never saw a better deal. Hell, even pre-owned ask for around £900+
I always liked the LLD...but something stop me to buy it, can't explain what actually...
I am looking for a smart diver which could be a dress watch and this LLD looks very tempting. You think it would look good with black aligator strap? What is the size and thickness of the case?
Forgott to mention: IMHO the no data version it's far away better
Some sizes.
Case. 42mm without the crown.
Lug width. 22mm. Buckle width. 20mm.
Height. 13mm.
From 2 O clock to 8 O clock including the crown. 46mm.
From lug to lug. 52mm.

Very nice watch, not sure about the hands though. Longines have very nice designs but every time I have handled a Longines watch, I haven't been impressed by the feel.
I love the LLD but I think the lug to lug distance may be too much for my 7 inch wrists. It does look a tad too large for you IMO (but if you are happy wih it that's all that matters!!!).
