Awesome!
Here you can follow a few projects I have done.
A DayDate
A GMT Master
A Submariner
I just want to clarify that I do not do these projects to other than myself and I
am not selling Rolex parts. I do not sell either one of the watches in this version
Awesome!
I'm not really a Rolex fan but what you did to the first one is fantastic. If I could make one look like that I may buy one
those are all excellent outcomes, i especially like the blue submariner, it looks stunning.
Wish I had the equipment, parts and the skills to do things like that Jocke - all of them look great :)
It's just a matter of time...
Tremendous and very informative Jocke.
Brilliant post.
Martin.
Really nice love the Sub
Fascinating. Great post.
Fantastic :-)
Great Jocke, the GMT master is my favourite .
With your skill I reckon you should go balls out , and make something of your own .
Great work Jocke.
Superb! Love the GMT!
Amazing watches, pictures and explanation. Thanks for sharing 👍👍
Oh my, that is nerdtastic!
I think I need a cold shower after those Explorer pics.
Wow that was fantastic wish I had your skills. Great pictures also
Thank you very much for sharing... I enjoy reading your posts when you've been at work on your pieces.
And the same goes for anyone else who works / puts together / sells / mods watches.
I'd love to visit, hang out, watch and learn for a day... just out of interest and fascination.
This makes me disappointed in myself and my lack of skills.. but was very enjoyable to read.
Brilliant photo's - I love them all! Thanks for sharing.
Wow, truely amazing.
Just out of interest. How long does it take you to do one of them? Say not much movements servicing required.
I also love the props and Rolex accessories you have!
Is that a RubberB on the Submariner?
I want that day date
Not that keen on Rolex and don't like Roman numerals but what you've done to the day/date has changed my mind!
Incredible!
And as ever, beautifully photographed ...........
Kudos Jocke
Really impressive skills and know how. The photos are expert too.
that is awesome
Fantastic!
Now go back and replace the bezel on the GMT/Explorer with a black rotating one.
:D
Thanks Jocke, always appreciate your threads, thanks for taking the time to catalog and post up your step by step pics. Very interesting.
Awesome technical and photography skills.
Love the GMT and DayDate but not so keen on the Submariner, never been a fan of gold on watches.
Ever considered doing something totally different and building your own model of watch that you think Rolex should have considered ??
Love all the behind the scenes detail.
And the watches look fantastic!
That was an enjoyable 20 minutes, great work Jocke.

Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
I don't even really like Rolex but...
You sir, are an artist!
If you ever want to sell that Blue one...i'll club those ahead of me in the line to death :)
Awesome post, many thanks!
I've read them all before, but enjoyable reading again. What's the next project Jocke?
Great informative and inspirational post - it makes me want to get some decent tools!
Thanks for sharing!

Great skills and also a wake-up call for me in terms of buying vintage Rolex without papers!!
That 1675 becoming a 1655 is scary... But very beautiful and one I would be happy to wear actually. A little like tunring a Ferrari 275/330 into a 250 GTO. It's sad that a lovely Rolex has to 'die' but what comes out the other end is arguably just as special if not more so and if sold as what it is, how can anyone object.
Jocke, how easily available are the parts to do this? Do you get them from a Rolex accredited workshop or pick them up on eBay and the like? I'm having impure thoughts about sourcing a ratty 1675 now...
In EVERY single case I thought oh no he will spoil it!LOL BUT Every one an absolute masterpiece stunning and %100 improvement, If you lived next door I would never leave your workshop, Superb photography to boot.
Great story and great pictures. Thanks for posting. I've read rumours (or is it confirmed?) about Swiss Rolex Employees who built their own Rolex using part like you did, Jocke. Given the quality of your transformations (why call it a Frankenwatch!), I guess that these stories are true.
I don't mind seeing pics of your next adventures!
Menno
I think you just created my desktop wallpapers for the next year or so.
Absolutely brilliant workmanship.
Thank you for sharing
