Can't say as I like that very much, to be honest.
Just stumbled across this IWC. It's a one off and is getting auctioned at Sotherbys in Geneva soon.
Guesses on how much it'll fetch? I'm guessing £75,000 gbp.
Details here.

Whats the case diameter...to the nearest metre?
0.046 m
Compared to the horrible green/blue/red limited editions that I've seen, this thing is a revelation. I actually like it very much - it's a shame about the size.
Wow, that thing is gorgeous. Plus a lovely reference to The Little Price.
Actually 46mm might make it almost useable for a perpetual calendar watch! Most are pretty much illegible...
Quite a handsome beast.
Same as the Rose Gold version, which I think looks nicer.
Watches like that can look fantastic on wrists that are large enough to carry them off - I remember talking to Stefan Solvi Petursson not that long ago and thinking that he'd be the ideal IWC or Panerai wearer.
For the more traditionally-proportioned people like myself, I think oversized watches are best left well-alone. Its cringeworthy to see people wearing them because they've convinced themselves they can carry them off.

love it. i think the blue dial really makes it.
Nicest looking IWC I've seen, that dial is to die for
Ordinarily, I'm not a fan of their St. Exupery pieces, but for this one I'd make an exception. This thing is all kinds of gorgeous, and as a member of the Big Pilot series, the size is just right (yes, boys, it's a "big" pilot., not a "medium" pilot).
I'm still partial to my Top Gun Perpetual, though (sue me, I like ceramic cases and matte dials).
Regards,
Adam
That is stunning. I love the red/blue combination, the perpetual complication, and the big pilot packaging.
I think it looks wonderful........
but can't help thinking that IWC should concentrate a bit harder
on getting the time keeping more accurate on standard Big Pilots
without worrying about these perpetual calendars.
a little too big for my taste and not a fan of that massive crown either
Old news now, this unique watch sold for 115k GBP...
The details on the moonphase and finish on the back display are just gorgeous. But there only seems to be a RG version apart from one off platinum piece? The RG sells for around 37k GBP
i think it looks mega, i dont really understand the little prince reference but i love the look of it. i think i prefer the yellow gold version of it but it is all academic anyway as im not going to be buying one!
Not entirely convinced by the massive crown, but I like the watch itself!
It's been a while that I have been so obsessed about a watch for so long time, and this one has to be the watch I have been thinking and thinking and thinking. RG is totally a no go for me, but I can totally see myself wearing a SS model of this reference. Easily one of the coolest watches ever.
The perfect size for my tastes!!!!!
This is really WOW!
In every aspect.
