Shifted the Audi on for something without monthly payments, its been fun and practical but its £400 a month better in bricks and mortar!
Found myself a nice comfy Passat (mixed bag of reviews but hasn't every car!), found a nice condition low miler with cambelt and water pump done, plenty of recalls carried out so im really happy with this one, its remarkably similar to the Audi inside.
Out:
In:
Jaguar x350, a great mix of luxury, speed, and a touch of retro styling. Would drive these for ever, just great!
I love this thread, and although I'm not in the same league as most, this is my kid carrier....
And a Transit for daily use. :(
Went hybrid this year - love it! Averaging 62mpg - matching my previous diesel Yaris but no carcinogenic particulates and cheaper fuel - silent in city centre traffic, no clutch, great stereo, and cool gadgets like head-up-display and LED headlamps. Fast enough for our crowded roads and motorways and zero annual excise duty. Wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea but meets my needs perfectly, leaves some spare cash for the other pleasures in life.

When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
Just had a full body resto and respray. Waiting on some chrome to be done, hence the missing window frames.
The Octavia Vrs has now been traded in for a 330d (dealers pics). Loving the Torque!
If anyone's on the lookout for a Octavia VRS Estate let me know and I'll point you in the direction of the dealer who's now selling mine. It's a cracking example.

Got this for my 31st, gotta say its truly a great car, not as good holding the road as my old e46 bmw sport, but fuel consumption and all round i really love it, although im mostly being chauffeured around in a 2004 vito knacker 6 days out of 7 , some really special cars some members have, aswell as there watches!!!
Had a few motors in my time. This is number 35
This year will be tight for money, but might look at the X150 XKR next year, but I don't think they anywhere near as pretty as the X100 shape, but they have an aluminium bonded chassis and another 100 bhp
I ride him for 15 years. Of course, only on sunny weekends... :)
Sorry about the rubbish quickly grabbed camera phone picture but it's hardly stopped raining since I bought it so photo opportunities have been limited.
Makes a change from the usual black or silver
The original 4x4, which could do with a wash!
Love the wheels on that landy!
My new one :-))
Clearly I am getting old. I cosset myself in this. Bought it in December to replace my previous S500
After discovering that some one thought it would be nice to kick of 2014 by keying all 4 panels of my car - twice! I'm mulling over swapping out the gti for perhaps a 535d this summer
Any members have this car - anything I should look out for while on my no doubt long search
Thank you. It's a temperamental thing, with a mind of its own, but it's so much more than mere transport; every journey is an adventure. The colour is Wedgewood Blue. So many Lotus cars have been painted yellow or red (this one was both at various stages), but I think this makes it look less like a toy.
BMW 1 series 114I since end of Oct its been great suits my daily drive well.
Blue for work.
Red as much as possible.
Looks really nice
