    Newbie alert!

    Hi,

yeah i've been lurking in the watch talk forum for a while now and I'm only 19! Maybe your youngest member :D but i am highly interested in watches and love how you guys operate the forum with a bit of banter alongside some geniuses who know everything about watches!

Ive been working really hard since i was 16 and i got my first Rolex 16610LV (admittedly with the help of my father contributing x amount) and I've also got a Tissot titanium watch and another tissot automatic watch.

Go easy on me guys! :D

Hopefully this forum can teach me a thing or two about watches and hopefully expand my collection.

    Cheers

    Ahmed

    Welcome Ahmed!

Great to have some new blood and also to hear you already have the bug :-)

Did you not see in the forum rules that you must post a picture of your watches for no other reason than we are all a bit sad ;-)

Welcome, feel free to ask away with any questions, generally you will get a semi-sensible answer

    Hello and welcome!

Great choice the Rolex 16610LV! When I was at your age I had the thing for watches for several years already (with no internet available :p), but my dream watch was probably a casio back then and definitely nothing proper or iconic as this.

    Welcome from Holland.

If not the youngest member, maybe the youngest Rolex owner on the forum?

Thank you all for your welcoming messages!

I do apologise about not putting the pics up and i am just in the process of uploading them! :D MOST IMPORTANTLY!: Sorry for the newbie iPhone pics!

I hope my collection is satisfactory... unfortunately i am a student studying Pharmacy at University so the bank balance is not exactly pleasant to the eye :)

I so wish rolex did a open case back so we could admire the 3135 movement! even my Tissot has a semi-open case back!

LV is pure class.... Well done for recognising that after just 19 years..... It took me 50 years... Then again I've always been a bit slow...

You guys are truly Epic! Some fantastic watches on here !!!!

Yes i completely realise that this is going to be an expensive hobby, my father is also a watch collector and I'm really following his footsteps :D (That sounds like a movie speech haha)

The LV has always stood out from the rest for me! I wanted a 116610LV but at the time that was too expensive for me and i had to go with the 16610LV; no regrets whatsoever!!!!

Just hope people that by the time I'm able to view the sales corner ill have enough money saved to purchase my grail... That is my original watch i wanted : Rolex 116610LV :D

Also can anyone tell me how i take some brilliant shots like you guys do?

Ive got a iPhone 5s but I'm assuming thats rubbish with taking close up/watch photography?

    Cheers

If you're having trouble saving up for one, I understand there are some surprisingly good fakes available. There's a chap on here who sells them. I'll think of his name in a minute.
