A couple of people asked me to post an up to date SOTC recently, so here it is - no changes of late and I won't be selling any of these any time soon. I quite like the mix of modern and vintage, and there are quite a few different styles and complications in there. I must say that I'm particularly fond of the 806 (which needs a new strap) and the 5513, although I wear all of them regularly and get a lot of pleasure from each of them.
I had 17 watches not that long ago and am much more comfortable with a smaller and more manageable collection (that said, I do have a little package on the way). Anyway, I hope you like the pack-shot
Looks like you've got most of the bases covered Tony - very nice!
What's on the way?
Very classy line up, what more would any reasonable person need... that counts everyone here out then!
"I looked with pity not untinged with scorn upon these trivial-minded passers-by"
Very nice line up T.
You shouldn't have let the 11630 Autavia GMT go though IMHO.
Andy
Wanted - Damasko DC57
Yes, the Sinn's lovely. I'm not sure I could sell any of them, so I may be safe!
Well, I'm trying a full-lume damasko (which if I like I'll keep and if I don't I'll flip) and I picked up a CWC quartz diver as a beater.
Nail, head (unfortunately).
Cheers, Andy. The Autavia GMT was just too minty - my vintage watches now all have slight signs of wear, which I prefer - as I'm not scared to wear them!
Always like looking through your SOTC pics, Tony.
Also surprised to see the Autavia GMT not there
Tell you what - here's a debateable observation/opinion. Looking at what you have, from my perspective you could dump the Speedy and Navi (I know they're classics, but .....) and I think you've got just as nice a range/selection - but fewer watches cluttering up the place. Is it the classic status and heritage that's influencing this or are they really something that would be chosen to wear over any of your others?
All up for debate.
All very nice Tony, think the JLC really does it for me most, probably closely followed by the Speedy
Malc
The JLC calendar is my own particular favourite there but I :miss: your WG Daytona which was rather loverly
Regards TT
That did make me chuckle, because you're spot on - it really is all subjective, and they are indeed classics - I would hasten to add that if one had those two a G Shock would still be required ;) - Speaking of G shocks, Tony... you've short changed us, this isn't your entire collection is it?
Tony, a veritable cornucopia of horological niceness that is!!
However, based on the current set, which one gets the most air time these days?

A stunning collection of horology's finest, beautifully presented with a large helping of photographic genius.
I feel spoiled
Nice varitey.
Best set for a while that mate and although the odds are somewhat lower than they've been in the past, I've still put a tenner each way on a couple of changes before the year end.
Tony, a fantastic collection and a hard task reducing the collection down I guess. Will it look the same in 2014? And
That Sinn will be out the door soon i bet.
Lovely watches, i love the Glashutte, its sooo much better in the metal too. I am properly envious of that one.
Excellent collection and photos as always Tony,
Col.
Really nice collection
They're all lovely Tony! The Ed White for me is my favourite and is almost perfect, that fact that it's yours and not mine is it's only flaw!
I love the blue hands on the Reverso, I'm sure I would spend all day staring at them if I had a classic Reverso...
The dial and handset on the 806 looks sublime also.
Nice bunch! Well done!
You, sir, have exceptional taste.
Regards,
Adam
A gorgeous collection Tony, nice and balanced with a bit of everything:-)
Very nice SOTC Tony.... I do like that 806, been dribbling over the one on SC!
As ever very nice. There again, whenever you do a SOC, I am always so impressed.
Speedy for me although it would be the 5513 if the lime was creamier, looks very very white!
