Just realised that I have been a member here for more than 9 years. I do blame this place for keeping the habit alive.....
Who is the longest standing member around (Eddie doesn't count as he's host-boss, not a member)? How old are you? I am curious about the newbie-oldie ratio in the active membership and how that proportion might affect the dynamics and tone of the forum.

From AΩ, aged four and a half.
Ten years and 5 months.
There was a long pause in the middle of that when I didn't visit as much.
Just over 2 years and just under £10,000 is my joint score!
Good one, Trev. Maybe we should guesstimate how much this membership has cost us to date. I will be back with my figures in a few hours.
It appears to be 7 years and 7 months!
And I blame psikat for my Doxa - If I hadn't met with him in Borders Books in Brum and tried his on I wouldn't have got one!
Joined around 2007 and became 'active' around 2008.

I only joined back in April of this year. My collection started with two 70's Omegas. My finances are about £2k lighter. Instead I now I have 14 watches and an expensive WTB list.
2 years old for me
I am only 5 months old
But I have bought 4 more watches since joining this site and spent about 2k
However I now have a burning desire for an AP or JLC !
2 and a half years old, joining in early 2011 puts me on page 129 of 209 using the AlphaOmega link above.
Looks like I just turned 4.
Looks like I'm member 5678, way down on page 189 of the AlphaOmega link.
Just passed my 5th birthday. Must be time for me to go to school...
Four years and a month or so. It seems much much longer.
"A man of little significance"
April 2009 I joined but had lurked in the shadows as a non member for a while.
5 years 1 month always enjoy it here, feel I'm amongst friends
Got to post and check - I guess 3 years.
Edit - turns out i'm 4 years 3 months - first proper watch I bought beacuase of this forum was a Brietling Superocean (2002)
Still in nappies
Just over 3 months old in which time I have gone from 4 to 12 watches and have a long shopping list for the future.
I hope I slow down soon!
1 TZ year is of course equal to 11 of the human variety.........

10 years and one month. I bought a Timefactors PRS-1 Speedbird after looking for an IWC Mk XI lookalike and then discovered the forum. I still have the Speedbird and several other Timefactors' watches.

Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
Happy Birthday to Me!
Yesterday was my 4th birthday. I wish...
I still have no coordination and need to be fed, burped and napped often...
About 18 months or so. Wallet considerably lighter!
Just about at the weaning stage (might get some sleep soon!)
Eight and a half years and only 214 posts .... I should spend more time posting and less on buying watches !
I am six months old tomorrow!
Just starting to crawl and say my first words...... Meega...... Meega.

5years 9months
January 2006 as I was looking for a 40th birthday watch for that October.
Bought a Seamaster Bond off SC for that and a few more have been and gone since.
It's been educational, funny, entertaining and also fairly addictive...
Wouldn't have had it any other way!
Just checked & I'll be 4 in a couple of weeks,
although take into account self imposed bans I'm probably at 2 years!
Must be over 10 years - although somehow I lost my login details at some point and had to re-join. Must be about 2002 I reckon - a lot has changed since back then! I remember Eddie having lots of Nos, Seiko, Zeno....... And all at prices that would make you weep! Still a great place if it has become a bit 'Paneristi' on occasion!
I joined on 13/04/2012 so that makes me 1 year, 4 months and 22 days in TZ years, it's been a slippery slope ever since...
Still quite young...although this forum has aged me and reduced my bank balance.
10 years old - getting close to my mental age
