Had this for couple of months now but still grin everytime I drive it on my own... needless to say MPG doesn't go well above 15mpg when I'm out and about ;-)
If all goes to plan, I'll be collecting this on Friday ...
A BMW 325i - After 10 years of sensible, tax efficient, economical oil burners I'm really looking forward to revving up the lovely, smooth BMW straight six - the 100 mile drive home won't be any where near long enough

Not very far, only averaging 180 yards carry, making 200 downhill with favourable wind.

Oops - I'd better not requote the pic (again) as eagletower has done it for me.
Anyone who drives a Senna-tuned car must be a petrolhead... how do you find it? Is it the manual? Do you take it to Honda or an independent? Did you try any other mid-engined cars or were you only looking at NSXs?
**gazes into middle distance**
I think that's it for now.
It is a 3.2 six speed manual in largely original condition. I bought it a couple of years ago having missed them in the 90’sfirst time round when there were few about and delivery on new cars was glacial. There never were too many NA2 pre facelift cars and even fewer have survived the intervening years unscathed. Motoring investment is an oxymoron, but these days they hold their value reasonably well, supported by strong interest from overseas.
The performance is modest by today’s standards but in its day it would give its direct competitors, the 993 and 348/355 a run for their money.
The most obvious mid engine comparable in today’s market is the Boxster/Cayman. Mrs L has a 981S and that is a cracking little car. Whether it is better than the NSX is purely down to subjective views. (I am tempted to start a brawl in an empty room by offering the Rolex/GS analogy but that would be asking for trouble!)
For a classic car the NSX benefits from Honda reliability and could be used as a daily driver but I don’t. To me it would seem a shame for those aluminium panels to be dinged in Waitrose car park by slummy mummy in her Chelsea tractor. Ditto the lovely forged aluminium suspension would not be improved by road salt and grime.
Though it came with a fully stamped book of main dealer service, I now go to a specialist who worked on the original design and then for Honda F1 team. He has staggering in-depth knowledge and understanding combined with meticulous attention to detail.
......... in case you haven’t found it NSXCB is an excellent source of info on the web.
Thanks - superb spec. That's the one to have by all accounts.
IIRC, I only ever saw one at a main dealer (it was the old Chiswick dealership which I believe used to be owner by Honda directly though I don't think it is now) - a few crop up on the classified every now and again (I've been watching the values creep up).
Great to see one looked after as much as yours.

You have a fantastic NSX there and may I say you keep it in incredible condition. Have you polished around the engine ? Most cars have a less than perfect finish in the engine bay. Very impressed with the overall finish of you car. Can I also ask what products you use. Autoglym, Meguiars ?
Thanks for sharing with us.
That's not mine bud I was quoting the poster, I wish it was mine!!
Some lovely cars in this thread, a very boring 3series BMW here.
Sorry Eagle.

Have a quick call with these guys and they will help out with that low power issue you mentioned. You should also see an increase in economy to boot.

I love that Evora, what spec is it? Love the colour too. The Evora S is the best car I've driven (closely followed by Europa SE!)
Nice Spudders... I think that makes 3 Evoras on here.

Here's my 2013 Sportline "mid wrap" .......................
A place in Manchester did it, Totally Dynamic, it was done a couple of months ago but that's the only pic I have on my phone.
I'll take a couple when I get to the office in the morning and post them up, it's a real head turner, whether it generates any leads is another thing........ ;-)
After much dithering on the car front - and much trying of cars to see which ones I fitted in (it can be an issue!) I ended up getting a BMW 135i (N54 version for the anoraks!). First BMW, and quite impressed at the way it drives (Runflats excluded!), feels very solid and the engine is creamy smooth and very linear in power delivery. You can get to silly speeds very easily! Also 302bhp is quite a lot after my previous Ford Ka!
