Loving the watches...
Loving the watches...
Aah, so they're back to being 'custards' now, are they Adrian?!
Feeling wicked today...
Simon
Aaaargh! I think I'll just stick to describing them as 'yellow'!
Simon
I'll play - here's some pictures of my Navitimer 01 taken with my brand new macro lens (been wanting a Macro for ages!)
A few scratches on the back from being my daily wearer for the last year, but a handsome back nonetheless.....
A proper marmite watch as a Breitling should be (?!) but there's nothing else quite like it.
My 13 year old Colt Ocean. Worn every day for all of that 13 years except for 3 weeks when in for service. It's been dropped, kicked, stood on, bashed against a wall and God knows what else. Pretty good condition considering! Tough old beater.

My Super Avenger II
I have had it for a month now and loving it, have posted some photos when I got it but thought I'd put it in this thread.
Here is my recently purchased lovely seawolf SS (thanks langdalematt). My first Breitling and I love it.
Sorry about the phone shots.
So Mark sold his Seawolf to you and his Avenger Skyland to me - both within the last month.
Busy boy.
I suspect you're as happy as I am?!
Simon
I love the look of Breitling watches. One of my favourite brands.
Errrr..... really?
Seawolf = 45mm
Skyland = 45mm
I grant you it may have a bit more 'presence' due to being a chrono (y'know, more knobs 'n dials), but I'm pretty sure they are basically the same size.
Now the Super Avenger (like Stew's, above) - that's a whole different ballgame. I tried one on once and I like really big watches - but it's over 48mm!!!!
Simon
Nice photo, mate.
I really like (almost) everything about the Blackbird... but I'm not sure about the position and size of the date window. Just seems a little odd to me.
Simon
I suspect you'll grow into it! When I started out around 9 years ago I struggled with the size of 40mm watches. Now my 'sweet spot' is between 43 and 46mm.
So the Skyland is right there...
...and is the best watch I've ever owned.
Simon
Transocean with mesh.... Forget about it....what a sexy watch
I don't know if this has been mentioned already but I was in prestons of Bolton today and they were selling all their breitling watches for 30 percent off. I didn't ask why as I'm not in the market for a new watch and only thought later that it might be something of interest to some of you guys.
If anyone sees one of these for sale for not silly money etc... feel free to let me know. I might need one!
Cheers!
My trusty Emergency Mission, done 3 tours of Afghan with it! Think I'm going to move it on soon! Not sure on value though!
Love my old Headwind!
My trio:
Avenger Skyland. This is the perfect all around watch for me right now. I think it's great for anything except dress.
Also approved by the captain. =)

Absolutely beautiful watches in this thread.
One for the Breitling fans: Superocean 44 "Orange"
Since selling my grey Seawolf I have to admit I have been missing it, so a trip to Birmingham led to an impromptu purchase from Gary, I am the owner of this beauty:
New to me.
