I recently bought an Everest from a WTB post.
I have just sized it and now have it on my wrist for the first time.
All I can say is wow - this wears better on my wrist than any Bracelet watch I have ever worn.
Just wanted to say a big thanks to Eddie for making this. I resisted for a long time but am so glad I finally got one.
So - I just wondered who wears theirs on the bracelet for a daily wear?
Best,
LC
I put mine straight onto a Di Modell Jumbo and have a Hirsch Liberty on the way. Fantastic watch.
Mine goes between a two-piece Maratac and a brown Toshi.
Beautiful watch.
Me neither, it's on one of Eddie's Gret Nato's.
Would just like to add, if anyone is on the fence with this one then get it bought. This is by far the best VFM watch I've ever owned bar none.
I wear it on the bracelet, and sometimes this:
I've been thinking of getting one of these for it:

Looks like a TF Aviator parallel to me.

Mine stays on the bracelet and likely always will. Bracelets are definitely a preference and definitely not a fan of NATOS.
The Everest looks great on a bracelet and it's really not got much to differentiate it from the Rolex Oyster - perhaps apart from the particular sheen/colour the Rolex has.
There are some watches that just look right on straps and not on bracelets e.g. Mont Blanc Nicolas Rieussec or Zenith Stratos Flyback Striking Ten...but I'd buy them that way. I'm a bit weird on 'swapping'...if it's on, it stays on.
I really hate to differ, but I think the Everest looks far better on a quality leather strap such as a Toshi.
Just my tupennth anyway.
Very nice watch! I like it better on a brown leather strap.
Papaya toshi for my Everest....and that's the way it will stay.....unless I get a plum Toshi down the road.
Fantastic watch and you will not get better vfm anywhere else, married to what I believe are the best leather straps out there......plus you are supporting two great UK businesses as well with great customer service
To the Op, Congrats on your good taste sir!
I love my Everest too. I agree about the VFM aspect but it's the versatility that makes it special for me. I'm wearing mine now on the bracelet but I wear it mostly in summer on various natos and in winter on a cherry Toshi.
Enjoy it to the max
Nice watch.
As a new member I'm a bit uneducated when it comes to 'good' watches. I originally starting reading the forum as I fancied an Omega Planet Ocean but after looking at these got a hankering for a Rolex Sub/Exp II - however I need to work on the finances (and wife) first!
I then spotted the PRS-29 which looks like a great watch, which led me on to the Everest. I nearly made an impulse buy earlier but luckily the TF website doesn't take orders today :-)
My think about picking one up next week, would make a good day to day watch, and probably good practice for a Rolex/Omega SS.
I've had mine now 18 months, other than when I magnetized it I wear it almost everyday! Zulu for me usually.

Hmmm, also is the zulu black and white, black and cream, or black and yellow?
I have mine on the nato version of this which I got from Gnomon watch straps - excellent quality and good service too. Their range of natos and zulus is pretty awesome:

Yes, thanks, I'd found them. I prefer the zulu–but the 22mm zulu is currently out of stock

If anyone knows of any alternate sources, please let me know! :)

Great looking watches. I like the bracelet but leather looks good also. Not so sure on the Nato.
anyone wear their everest on a gasgasbones ? i'm planning on buying one on tuesday when the website is taking orders again. so far i'm thinking it'll be an ideal watch for me to get my first toshi & i'll wear it on a grey nato as well. just wondering if it could be worth me having my first foray in to the world of GGB's
There was a brief glimpse of the Everest on BBC's "Click" programme this morning (worn by Mark Cieslak).
Eddie
Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
Here's a link I posted a while back of him wearing it in an earlier program.

I have 6.5 inch wrists and i feel the bracelet overlaps a bit in me so it's on this ;
I miss not having a good quality leather for mine. I've had loads but my ultimate has to be the cherry Toshi:
Mine, on a Hirsch Duke.

Sorry about the camera phone ......
A leather Rino with two loops removed ....
I wear mine mostly on a Hirsch liberty brown strap, sometimes on a vintage bond Nato.
I tried it on a green Hirsch Terra natural leather strap which looks good, and brings out the green hue in the face.
A few shots on a Maratac nato and a Pavel Burgandy leather:

Just put my Everest back on a Nato, just tried it on a Bond.
Never fails to put a smile on my face.
A Militat , I think that's how you spell it ......
I'm beginning to think I've got to own one of these...
Based on my Dreadnought spending far more time on my wrist than my Breitling, I have no doubt that you're right.
If nothing else; having a watch that I don't have to set the date on (nor work out if it's AM or PM while setting) when I pick it up would be a delight :)
Shame I missed the mint-looking one that sold recently
I do like my Everest, I must admit.
Remarkably good watch for the money.
