PRS25. It's a classic.
Just because it's Sunday and time to reflect.
Tell us all what's your favourite Timefactors watch and why?
(only stipulation is that you must have owned said watch)
Best,

PRS25. It's a classic.
Tough call. PRS 25, as it feels like the one I'm most unlikely to move on for all the right reasons; great style, weight, markings, hands, lime, bracelet.
Speedbird GMT as close second.
I like the PRS29B, just a very nice looking and accurate to within 1 second a day watch, only problem is what strap to put it on, thinking of buying a PRS25 but not sure I like minute markers as they seem a bit too long, but pretty sure that I will get one.
Also considering a Speedbird III for everyday but since I have a couple of IWC's that only get worn when there is no chance of doing damage (MK XI and MK XV) not sure how it would stack up against them, from the pictures it looks very good and I don't expect it to be as good as the IWC's but would like it to be close.
PRS29B on a two-piece grey Maratac. Comfortable, discreet and quality. Timekeeping of -3 secs per 5 days is stunning.
PRS25 on a Papaya Toshi or Eddie's one-piece grey Rhino. Just a lovely watch. The Rolex and Seikos revolve around them.
Because it's small but perfectly formed

Wanted - Damasko DC57
Everest... my only non diver and "weekend" watch
Wrist Weapon Control ?
That's funny, Harry. Actually, thinking on how you describe the use of the PRS-18 swung on the ring end of a long one-piece NATO (or Zulu I imagine) like that, I guess it would be like a small medieval mace. Might do a bit more than hurt too if you really had to use it that way for last ditch defence
Hmm, with my form I'd either end up clouting myself on the head or end up with it wrapped round my neck. Mind you thinking about it, two or three PRS-18s linked together may make a practical bolero. Somebody ought to give it a go, the watches would stand up to it they're built like brick outhouses.
It has to be the Everest it looks so good on straps and on the bracelet.
It is also an awesome price snap one up before they are all gone

50. just because.
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
Speedbird 1: it's the original, it's understated, and it's pure class.
prs3...cos its the only one...maybe i need another
PRS-12 - Speedbird 1903. The absolute nuts and limited to only a 100!
Brenda!
I couldn't limit myself to one. The SB1 pure and simple, DN a big brute, SB3 just classy to see and feel, RS Eddies only true dress watch and often overlooked, PRS50 A/B both are classic divers, SB1903 and the original PRS-5 chronos of choice.
Dreadnought and Everest both outstanding IMHO

PRS 14 - pure class, and so, so.......... special!

Recently acquired PRS-17-C a near perfect substitute for my Zenith El Primero that was away being further butchered by the 'specialist' who 'serviced' it. It looks amazing on a 'lumpy'.
Choices, choices.....
but in the end it can be narrowed down to the ones that started it for Eddie....
PRS-5 ... what's not to like & it doesn't dwarf my girlie wrist.
My favourite is the PRS-28, Radio Room, because it was bought as a 40th birthday present, for a good friend, who was not hugely into watches but did like quirky things. Not only did he love the watch but it also started his journey into mechanical watch ownership. So whilst Eddie has made designs I like better, the PRS-28 holds some very good memories for me and makes me smile whenever he wears it.
This is what I like to hear... my other half treated me to this watch last night! The order is in Eddie's hands right now....
She wanted to buy me this one as it was a watch she liked from the (long) list of watches I like. Sometimes she is not impressed when I'm explaining to her why (insert name) new black faced military inspired watch is different from the last - you have all been there!!
The PRS-28 needed none of that.
agree I love it on the photos aswell, and would probably do irl life too. Need to try one of these some day!
I have own two timefactors watches, a Prs18 and a Prs-50. I liked them both but the most important thing was the quality that was top notch for a very fair price :)
Another vote, spoken softly, for the Everest from me. It's a watch that's a clear design homage with a personality all its own. And it's a watch that doesn't need anyone to shout on its behalf.
Tough call for me but I would say my PRS3 Broadarrow, solid build and good looking.

This one just arrived this week, but it's already my favorite. A real nice versatile watch:
A dreadnought might trump it, but that one is out of reach for the moment.
Got to be another vote for the 18. Hard to describe, but it just feels "right" on the wrist. It's not big, not small. And there's nothing about it I'd change.
I have a 14 and an Everest, too: both great... not an easy choice.
Some great pics on this thread, thanks to all!
I'm currently deciding between a PRS-18A and an Everest for my next TF watch.
I already have a PRS-29A and a PRS-17Q
It's tricky to choose but I think I'd go with the PRS-17C. The Everest and the PRS18 are both excellent, but for me the 17C just seems to 'work' better.
The size is perfect (not massive), and despite being able to display tenths, seconds, minutes, hours and constant seconds the dial layout isn't too cluttered - in fact I think the dial/logo layout is perfectly balanced. The bezel isn't too tall and is set slightly inside the outer edge of the case so it won't catch on any door frames and helps it fit under a shirt cuff. The quick set hour hand is great for travelling (date also helps here), and the quartz (grab and go) movement with the aeroplane minute hand appeals to my inner geek. The case shape is quite utilitarian, but it works well on a variety of straps/bracelets and I feel that it dresses up well on a rally strap. It's a bit of an unsung hero but it's such a great all-rounder
For me, it still would be the dreadnought, after all these years....and though not strictly a time factors watch.....the aerowatch is a runner-up.
My Broadarrow PRS-4 (PRS-3 in black PVD). I'm wearing it as I write this. If I would be forced to keep only one watch, this would definitely be the one.
This.
Saw the advert in watch magazine and knew that I needed it it my life.On the wrist now for 7 days and simply perfect
Was the 20 for a long time but I have really fallen for my Everest and my CAF. Both sitting on Toshi's now and looking splendid!

My most worn Timefactors watch is my Smiths 29A - so I suppose I might call it my favourite.
It is the watch I wear mainly on exhausted weekday evenings whilst at home, after a day on the tools.
I find the watch to be undemanding, simple and legible - but more than that.
In his review of the Hamilton Khaki Automatic from November 2009, Geralt wrote "For long term contentment a thing has to resonate with core values and ideals." I could never have written that, but I think I know what he means.
On a practical note, only a handwind watch suits me for these short periods of wearing without resort to fiddling with my watchwinder.
I also own a Smiths 29B and whilst the sapphire is indeed satisfying, alas my meagre wrists cannot carry it off.
Another vote for the 29b,although I think it might be joined soon by an Everest.

Speedbird III GMT. Blows my skirt up!
For me its the 17C and Prs5 i love just looking in the display back, although i do like the all roundness of the everest as well
