Never take mine off, if playing sport I tape it up.
I took mine off in 1979 when it nearly tore my finger off, jumping out of a truck. It was badly distorted and I haven't worn it since. They were banned in the workshops for H&S reasons.
Never take mine off, if playing sport I tape it up.
After never taking mine off (except for the short time to wash/wax the car), I recently took mine off to let the skin underneath 'recover'. In the past 2 months, hwoever, it hasn't been back on! (the missus noticed, but hasn't complained...)
Could this be an opportunity for a 'post your wedding ring' type request?
People could be looking for inspiration, you see...
Took mine off about two weeks after getting married. Haven't worn it since. Just couldn't get used to it and drove me mad. Women can tell just by looking at me that I'm married with children.
Only in the bedroom, it isn't called the "ring" finger for nothing.
I lost 2 so haven't bothered with one for the last ten years...
Never take it off.
Always removed my wedding ring when I got home. I then lost it about 3 years ago
16 years never been off, but's it's a bit battered now.....like the missus ;)
Hasn´t been off my finger in the last 23 years, until the other day, when we seperated. Haven´t worn it for a week now but still do that fiddly thing with my thumb, until I notice the ring isn´t there anymore. The ring impression is still very clear.
I don't take it off, that's the point surely?
Mine comes off for certain DIY jobs (following a quick mental risk assessment), before I go to sleep at night and for playing golf (I miss hit the ball once playing on a cold winter day and I thought my fillings were going to fall out).
Digger
Didn't want a ring, but the Wife insisted, so just got a cheap tungsten carbide one. Only wear it for very special occasions, usually other peoples weddings, as I just don't like having anything on my fingers. Being tungsten I always had the fear of it ripping my finger off.
Mines on pretty much all the time.
Bit loose now I've lost some weight but not going anywhere.

I really wanted to say either "when on the pull / a date" or "as soon as I got divorced".
The real answer is that when doing something really manly (cleaning the bathroom) about three months after being married I managed to get some bleach left under the ring for half a day - it burnt my skin and caused it to have a permanent allergy / reaction to the ring, so I can't wear it any more. Still, if I do decide to just sell the useless thing I gather gold has gone up in value, so every cloud...
At home, washing hands, gym, swimming, when putting on a bracelet watch in fact the ring is similar to a watch in that it generally goes on when I go out.
People still get married...................
Is this a serious question?? Sorry had to ask.
Never had to put one on.
Another non wearer after 6 years of being married. Wife bought me a very nice ring , i just don't get on with wearing rings.
I was lucky to get bought my grail by my wife to wear on our wedding day which i very rarely go a day with out wearing with pride.
When I got divorced...
To play 5 a side.! Heard horror stories about them catching on wall/fence!

I used when I went rock climbing, but that's about it.

Never. I like to hang onto anal musk.
Not into jewellery (except watches now) and asked not to have a wedding ring - so never faced the issue!
I take my wedding-ring off only while cooking, especially when preparing dough or pastry.
Haven't worn mine in about 2 years.
No real reason, just felt more comfortable without it.
I don't and never have worn any jewellery apart from a watch, and wore the ring for 3 years but found it unnatural, so gave it up.
Never take it off. It has created a "dent" around my finger and it looks a bit weird when I don't wear it. I'm not talking E.T like weird finger but I notice it!
Never take mine off, proud to wear it :)
ETA ditto the dent business Mr T :)
In strip clubs...
When I'm using power tools or gardening or general DIY. Also when cycling.
Always worn mine as jewellery effectively, when going out. It's quite a chunky thing to wear day-to-day and where I wash and moisturise my hands quite frequently throughout the day, it's not confortable or practical.
Interesting as we were having this conversation at dinner with friends the other day and regarding men who take their's off for certain 'pursuits'.
One girl (who was Catholic) said men wearing rings is a relatively new thing anyhow.
Quite a few men that I know don't tend to wear one.
I take mine off to sleep and if I'm doing a particularly grubby mechanical job on the car.
Never, even after 25yrs
Never taken it off ,even after 30 years!!!! .Where does the time go? .....
Mine comes off when doing weights or when I'm scrubbing to do a spinal anaesthetic.
Only been married 5 months so mine hasn't come off yet, fingers crossed it never will!
Never take mine off (apart from to clean it)
Always aware of losing a finger though when caving so just wrap a plaster around it.
It's been on my finger since the day we married 15 years ago
Never. Had it taken off 3 yrs ago when I broke my arm. But otherwise always on.
Always wear gloves out on site. Heavy engineering. Seen nasty pictures of what can happen if ring catches on something.
