Nice,is it valuable.
This vintage 80's diver watch has exactly the same case as the early CWC RN divers, with bakelite bezel insert...
This Airin was made by Dodane who also made the early CWC cases...
Nice tropical dial !
enjoy the pics,
Nice,is it valuable.
Very nice, I have a cwc with the Bakelite insert, they are soo nice.

Very interesting; is there anything engraved on the caseback? I suppose M.N. markings would be too much to ask for....
The back is only engraved with number 916135...
Another one with a CWC look,
it was issued by the french Marine Nationale during the 80's, the number of issue is "0200",
I will for sure have the glass replaced soon !
enjoy,
BTW I think that civilian Luxia are quiet uncommon too...
Love the look of these knackered looking unknowns i have a PRS 3 with a bit of wabi and cant wait untill it looks as knackered as these .
I have got a pretty beaten up issued CWC in the drawer at home. Just realized that I should use it more often...
These navy divers seem to be able to take a lot of abuse...real work tools !
Wearing mine at the moment

How about posting pics of yours, including back with military markings ?
cheers,
This is a "Nilax" branded quartz version with the tall bezel as found on the 1980 CWC (thanks Terry Andrews!) - made for the Scandinavian market as it has a Finnish and Swedish day wheel. Obviously well used over its lifetime and perhaps the European version of the Chronosport Seaquartz 30 (thanks again Terry!) The bezel is very similar to the early CWC and the watch looks good on its military strap - however I doubt if it was ever military issued as it just has on the back the same number as the Chronosport SQ 30. Spring bars, not fixed, and I should have centred the bezel for the photo, I just love the WABI
Dave
Nice one ! May be you could have the crystal changed.
I could but I kind of like the WABI look
agreed!!!
