Hello and a nice set you have ;-)
Hi Everyone,
My first post here so I though I could introduce myself. I'm a car salesman and I've been with the Jaguar and Land Rover product for the last 16 years, let say I have a soft spot for British motorcars and watches. I'm also a member on another well known forum but I needed some fresh air so here i am. I've been a watch guy for as long as I can remember but my collecting disease started around 2007. My main interests in watches are for divers, pilot and military watches, therefore Eddie's forum seems like a natural place for me to participate, and this forum seems like a friendly place.
I found a lot of good information on this site and I hope to be able to share and give back what I received.
English is not my native language, so please forgive me if what I write sounds weird sometimes : )
Now, since a thread without picture is boring, here is a family shot of my two Precistas with my SM300, more to come...
Hello and a nice set you have ;-)
Hi and welcome (BTW you English seems very good)
Welcome to the forum
Welcome from Holland.
Daddel.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
Hello and welcome to the forum. I'm also a fan of divers. Love your SM300! Is it an original or a NOS?
Hope to see you around.
Si.
Nice start! Welcome to TZ.
Thanks for the warm welcome guys, it's appreciated!
Skip, the Omega is a Watchco with the proper caliber 565. While I like a lot of vintage watches, I just wish I could buy them new, so this was a dream come true for me.
Welcome to you. And a really nice looking Omega you have there
Welcome to the forum .
In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
Welcome , nice intro you have made
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
Welcome, what happened to the car salesperson's 'standard issue' Rolex Bi-Colour Submariner!? ;-)
Welcome - great 'themed' collection you have there - love the SM300 on mesh .....
Welcome, very nice collection, enjoy it
Hey, nice start! Cool collection. Can't beat a good photo
welcome, very nice divers watches.
Welcome and nice first post
welcome...nice collection
Very nice, the SM300 is a beauty!
LOL, no two tone Rolex for me, I'm still too young for that, even for a car salesman Actually, no Rolex yet. I'd love a ND Sub one day, but for the most part, my humble collection is mainly composed of affordable watches. I know many of you have amazing collection so for now, I'll drool over your beauties.
Thanks again for the friendly welcome! Now, I have a lot of exploration to do...
Hi Daniel,
Welcome to the T-Z forum I've only been here about 6 weeks and I've found other members both helpful and friendly.
Love the Omega SM300 you've got. I think the Omega SM Vancouver 2010 would be ideal for you, patriotic colours and all that!
Hi Mark,
Thanks for the kind words. Funny you say that about the SM 2010 Olympic (if it's the one you are referring too) I'm not a big fan of the white dial and the Olympic rings on the second hand, but I did buy a watch in 2010 during the Olympic, I think it's the most patriotic one I could have bought back then ; )
Welcome to the forum
Also a hello and welcome, from Holland:) Very nice collection indeed!
Welcome Daniel. :)
I had a great experience in a Landrover dealership recently, sadly though it was in Cardiff rather than Quebec! Great watches so far, looking forward to seeing some more...
Enjoy your time here!
Rob
Welcome to the forum, hope you have plenty of money as this site gets to you, good luck.
Hi Daniel, yes that's correct, I meant the red & white SMP but your Marathon is just as patriotic as it's got the maple leaf in the dial. Nice one!
Welcome DM, enjoy the change of pace from your other forum. Great watches you have there bud ;)
Welcome to the forum, Daniel.
Welcome, Bienvenue Daniel, from another non-English speaking member.......
Hello, and welcome to the fun!! It looks like you already have a very tasty collection!
