Welcome from Holland.
Lovely piece, if it only was the HW version.......................I'd love it even more.
Daddel.
Hi all, been lurking for a while and finally bought my first watch. I have been driving the girlfriend nuts showing her watches every other day asking what she thinks so she is delighted I have finally got one! So am I! Think I might have found another addiction...at least it's a healthy one...maybe not on my wallet though.
Any way here is my first watch - Omega speedmaster broadarrow, sorry can't remember exact model number and the box is in the loft, will get it next time I'm up.
Will hopefully be on here a lot learning about my new fascination and adding to my collection. Starting with a sub £100 work horse (I'm a helicopter engineer so could do with something durable, accurate and light) any suggestions?
Also my dream watches (at the moment) would be a Rolex Milgauss GV or Zenith El Primero Striking 10th.

Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
Greetings from Estonia.
You have made a good selection after long looking, this broadarrow looks really nice.
Cheers,

A big hello. I think your GF is going to have to get used to looking at watches...
Hello and welcome, that Omega is a great start, it's downhill from here.
You should have run while you still could.... you are now afflicted with the watch hobby. Now comes an overdraft, 0% credit and huge credit card bill. But, you will have even more nice watches to look at
Welcome to the club, be warned it only gets expensive from here on in.
Great Choice. Stunning watch.
Thanks for the kind comments
Just been searching through old topics on watches in vegas, taking in the new year at MGM this year so will be browsing a lot...fingers crossed for a big win so I can treat myself, without the other half knowing of course
Hi and welcome, nice Speedmaster.
Cheers
Jim

Welcome! Great watch especially for a first!
Hi and welcome. You need some more watches.

Sub £100 youe hard pressed to beat a decent gshock or a skx007 if mechanical is what you're after
Welcome aboard & one of my favourite watches :-)
Hello and welcome! Nice watch to start a collection with you've got there. Have fun!
Regards,
Al
Hi and welcome. Sub £100 would get you a Marathon navigator like this. Very, very light, robust and US airforce issued.
If you get posting you will soon be on SC and see a few sub £100 watches.
Welcome - Impressive first watch.
Andy
Wanted - Damasko DC57
very nice broadarrow - Enjoy
Welcome to the forum .
Welcome on board. That looks like a lovely first choice.
Sub £100 for the next one.... surely its got to be a G-shock. :)
Andy
Another suggestion for a sub £100 watch other than G-shock is the Timefactors PRS-10 £90 with choice of straps.

Mine has gained a second in 17 months, therefore inexpensive and accurate.

Hi gog5, that's a mighty fine Speedy Broad Arrow you've got there
Welcome & great choice as a first watch!
Hi and welcome nice watch
Welcome to the forum and a great first watch!!
Welcome to TZ
Congratulations, and welcome.
For the next one - first decide whether you want digital or analogue. For digital, I'd say G-Shock - probably a classic GW-5600J; for analogue, a Seiko diver of some sort, or as Nibby suggests, a Precista PRS-10. Any of these should last for years and take you into and out of all sorts of places, happily.
