Thread: Vintage Eterna pilot

    Vintage Eterna pilot

New addition to my collection, I picked up this vintage Eterna from a fellow WIS (thanks for letting it go Tobias).
I really like the dial and hands on this one, beautifully aged and the 38mm case with fat lugs means it suits my wrist perfectly and has a lot of presence.

It is somewhat reminiscent of the more famous Longines Czech pilot watch, but as I understand the Eterna is post WW2, so would be dating late 40's or 50's.

The watch runs really well for its age +12/day consitently, quite amazing for a watch of this age.
    Anyway really enjoying this one...

Really like that, the case looks to be in amazing condition too. Nice to see something a little bit different.

That looks fantastic, a good size for an old school watch and the gilt dial and hands look great.
