The U212 and U212A are the cream of the German submarine crop - they represent Germany's excellence in both technology and construction. The submarine was designed for the navy in both Germany and Italy, and is non-nuclear.
I do need to get a Sinn.
Great watch. Another nice addition from Sinn to the U series.Far too big for me though!
regards,
Nick
My skinny wrist could never wear 47mm :)
I like the look but way to big for me too.
Thats a nice looking watch, but very similar to the UTS watch you already have.
How big is that MM, that looks kind af special .
As stated above, nice but big.
Daddel.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
As mentioned before. Very nice, but too big.
I also think its too big but I am still quite like most of what Sinn puts out. They don't appear to have been tempted to create ridiculous watches like many other watch companies-including the high end companies..I'm thinking diamonds, skulls etc etc. They have remained somewhat true to practical watch design.
Thanks for the, er, compliments. I thought it would be too big and I'd end up flipping it. However, it sits quite well on my 6.5" narrow but steely wrist. The short lugs don't overhang. This has been the sentiment of several who've bought the 212. I've asked a couple people who can be trusted not to blow air up my skirt if it's freakishly large on my wrist, and they've all replied no.
The Ennebi Fondale MM is also 47, which does sit quite high but the lugs are angled down the sides of the wrist.
Hey I like that, too big? Nope I like big'uns. I much prefer the hands on this I wish Sinn would put those hands on the regular U1 instead of those Lego jobbies.
I was hoping Sinn wouldn't get drawn into the "bigger is better" hype....sigh. That watch would look fantastic in 40mm or even 42mm size.
As others said, very nice, love the look, but too big for me...
But, I spent my lunch break at the Kieler Fφrde today, and this came across -->
Is that a U212?
Cheers,
Andreas
This is my favourite sinn, I know watchbuys in the US had some for sale, not any longer thou. Its a shame its sold out.
Might just keep an eye out for one second hand.
That is one serious hunk of metal...Looks very good though !!
Beast !!!
Nice looker ! Good quality 'feel' to Sinn watches in my experience.
Enjoy it. Mark
Very nice
Nice watches Sinn
Love the dial, but much to big for the wrist
